Disappointed with Hunter Cloaks
Hopefully I am not the only one, but is anyone else extremely disappointed with the hunter cloaks from TTK?
1) Hardly any of the legendary ones (the ones that can actually help your light level continuously) are cool looking.
2) None of them change color with your shader. At all. That is so bogus, totally defeats the purpose of a shader.
The warlock bonds you can't even notice (but still half of them look awesome), the titan marks are actually decent and half of them match most shaders, so they work. Also Titan marks are smaller and don't impact your character's look much. A hunter's cape is literally like half of his appearance.. So it is sort of a big deal when they all look goofy as hell on your character.
Does anyone know if the hunter cloak from the raid changes colors with your shader?
They really should make stuff that is PURELY cosmetic (like cloaks, marks, bonds, etc) be completely upgradable from the original destiny, to support diversity in terms of customization.

I got the On The Marsh cloak (can't honestly remember where from, either a drop or from levelling up) and I actually really like it. Not a fan of the subclass ones you get awarded for the quests. They're OK, I just prefer others. Anyway, overall pretty happy with the new round of Hunter cloaks. The Titan items however, I truly hate the one my Titan has now, but it had better light level than the Sunbreaker one I had, with the same perks - and I didn't much like the Sunbreaker one anyway. Wish I could infuse one of my yr1 Titan items and use that again, but no such luck. Warlock bonds, not a lot to say about those, is there really.

I love the scarf, I equip that every time in PvP. I just wish I could infuse it.

I dig the cloak of oblivion and that's all that matters. No need to switch, ever.

Odd now exotics change with shader and cloaks dont. Before it was the opposite. Rather disappointing.

the nechromancer or whatever is decent. all else is trash. gj bunjie. well psion flayer ones are cool. taniks is awful though.

1 ReplyOnly the bones on the back of the raid cloak will change colors. Also, it is dumb that all the cloaks don't change according to the shader.
