Well Bungie, I hope you're happy.
My wife is crying. She worked her ass off, for a whole year of her life to aquire her gear. She JUST got it. Never had all her exotics before... and now it's useless. "We literally paid to get -blam!-ed. It's not fair" <-her words. What do you want ma to tell her? Haha, git gud? She's a casual game who LOVED this game. Now has no refuge from this hell we call LIFE.

I'm not too far removed from her opinion.

3 RepliesSorry to hear you guys are upset:( But I have good news!!! By simply going through the much better presented story mode, you will be obtaining items that are way stronger! The frequency of cool items is pretty high, as well you are assured cool exotic weapons by finishing quest lines that are actually a lot of fun! Once you guys get a hold of your new sword you'll forget all those old weapons.

Of course they're happy. Sales are fine, the paid for reviews are saying the things that they like and enough people have become addicted to the game. Everything is fine in Pleasentville for them. They don't really care about those that are leaving because Activision has told them that approximately 90% of game players leave. So if they show less than that is happening, everything is going better than expected. PS: if you want to know how I came up with the 90%, go to a search engine, and look it up for yourself.

3 RepliesEVERYONE who played year one destiny is in the exact situation. All year one gear is useless for everyone unless they're starting a new character. I didn't cry when I had to replace all of my exotics with higher rated year two blue gear. That's the point of the game. Grind for higher gear.

7 RepliesDestiny is not MMORPG, but it acts like a one. Bungie told us over 2 months ago, that our exotics would be useless in year 2, and all the other gear. Destiny is acting like a "real" MMORPG. Whenever there is expansion, your past "badass" gear is worse than the new one. You should just get over it.
