1 ReplyEveryone is complaining about them being "tipped off" but there's no new mechanics here, it's all pretty easy to figure out if you're a day one player. Times vengeance from vog and the jumping puzzle. Relics and totoms from crota, passing the poison in PoE. They all were the same mechanics incorporated into the new raid. So if you have a brain the puzzle part of it isn't too hard to figure out. I agree 6 hours seems a little too fast. But congrats to them. My buttcoulnt even get to 290 to play on release.

117 RepliesBig congrats to this team on their achievement. They stuck it out together and were the first to take down Oryx. Also give @versusthestream a lot of credit. They came super close to beating him first and then ended up in second place. Still an amazing achievement.

2 RepliesGrats on the kill but...How about we focus on the fact that ANOTHER raid was beaten in a single day. That is pathetic. They have to gate the bosses with higher light levels and, I guess, double the amount and complexity of the mechanics. Can you imagine if a WoW or Rift raid was totally beaten in 1 day? The raid community would collapse (if there was one still). There is no competition in Destiny raiding if it can be beaten, by multiple groups, in 24 hours. I haven't done the fights yet but a 24-hour clear is something that the first Destiny-competitor will need to address. That being said, looking forward to the raid just for something to do.

It was pretty amazing. Huge congrats to them. Them completing it actually helps others when they are doing it. (Not talking about those that are doing it blindly) The reaction they had was priceless!! Lol I think the fireteam I'm on would have the same reaction when we beat the warpriest later.
