How to use Three of Coins. (Must read)
I've been farming Scourge of Winter story boss. Get the checkpoint outside his chamber. Pop coin, snipe boss low, run in and rocket suicide to kill him. If he dropped loot, it'll still be there. Rinse and repeat. Within 15 coins, I've gotten 3 chest exotics.
Edit. 31 coins, 5 exotic engrams. Roughly half hour of .
Mission - Scourge of Winter[b] (Difficult doesn't matter)

Pop coin.
Snipe boss low, or shoot him, whatever works for you.
Go in and kill him and yourself with a rocket launcher. Any loot will carry over after you revive at the checkpoint.
Rinse and repeat while collecting any loot drops from the previous kill.
[b]Only use one coin at a time,[/b] the buff goes away regardless of you getting a drop or not.

1 ReplyInstead try it on the Regicide mission. When you get to the two ultras halfway through the mission (The Colossus and Ogre), pop your Three of Coins, kill the Colossus as he doesn't have that huge a health pool, wipe and repeat. Do not kill the Ogre or else it'll advance to the next part of the mission, just keep farming off the Centurian.

Get that fusion rifle people it's the best gun I'm telling you now[/quote] If you run eye of a gate lord. Just kill the boss. Finish him up close with a regular weapon. You can see the engram drop. Grab it quick and go directly to orbit. Saves your checkpoint. Rinse and repeat.

2 RepliesI used about 60 coins. I started to use 5 at a time because of the stack buff, but I later found out this is a waist and 1 per turn will suffice. In my 60 coins I got the following: Jade Rabbit Zhalo Supercell Hawkmoon (Year 2) Telesto Chest of Alpha Lupi (x4) The new hunter helmet (cant remember name) Sealed Ahamkara Grasps (Hunter) The Impossible Machines (Warlock) Again, Of the 60 coins I probably used 30 in stacks of 5. SO, I only actually did about 36 runs. Not a bad outcome I don't think. NEW FAVORITE EXOTIC: Zhalo Supercell. That chain lighting is beast!

After all was said and done I ended up with: Zhalo Supercell Hereafter 2x Year 2 Hawkmoon Year 2 Crest of Alpha Lupi (Titan) 2x Year 2 Crest of Alpha Lupi (Hunter) The Impossible Machines The Stag Year 2 Invective Telesto Year 2 Ruin Wings (had already bought them :( ) All in all, definitely satisfied with the coins and glad I got em in before bungie gets nerf happy lol

Tried both bosses, tried it on both difficulties, and still nothing. RNGesus must be quite ashamed. Although I did buy 2 of the exotic helmet engrams from xur and got both new hunter helms, so I guess that's where my luck went Edit: after 8 total hours I've gotten a 4th horseman and a titan crest. Wonferful.
