Collector's Edition Xbox 360 to Xbox One
I purchased the collector's edition of the Taken King on Xbox 360 yesterday, and I assumed it would transfer over because it is surely account linked to have new items. Logging in to my Xbox One today, I have all the items, but it says I don't have access to them because I don't have the collector's edition. Do I really have to buy it again for the next generation?

I am so disappointed that The Taken King content is not transferable between consoles. Here is the link with the updated information: https://www.bungie.net/en/help/article/12122 Update on 2015-08-13 UPDATE: Many players have benefited from this limited-time offer since it was first issued. To enable more people to take advantage of the offering, it was extended for the Expansion Pass, Expansion I, and Expansion II. Destiny: The Taken King is not part of this offer and is therefore not available in the Digital Upgrade Program.

TTK is not console transferable. If you have CE on one and regular on the other, that's what will be available. The items specific to "editions" do not tag along between console generations. It was the same way with the original vs guardian editions.
