Other accounts cant access taken king on console that it was bought in
I bought taken king but my brothers account cant acess the content why bungie

I have the same problem, this is probaly Activision trying to get us to pay more money.

Bump. Bungie can't treat its customers this way. They are violating console policies and our trust.

Still Bump! Also, I have been so caught up in all this sub-account fervor, that I completely missed the fact that I did not receive a Spark of Light! I never liked Halo so I never really followed Bungie. I didn't know they had issues like this with their launches regularly. This is a sweet game, we were havin fun. I watched the twitch stuff. We got totally into this Destiny game. Terrible, terrible story, but man is the gunplay on point! I don't even know you and you are making me dislike your company. Make this right, please!

6 RepliesMy sons encountered the same problem after I downloaded the $39 digital download on one of their two Xbox 360s. In order to get around the problem, I first entered into the system settings and cleared the cache on their local hard drives. I next went into account management under the account I used to buy the digital download. In the download history, I simply re-downloaded the download which is only a couple of KBs (since the main download happened last week with the 2.0 update.) This took a matter of seconds. Once this was done, both of their accounts had access to the new content. Keep in mind, I had to do this on both of their consoles. I wish these steps had not been necessary but I'm glad it worked in the end.

Bump this is unacceptable. I have two ps4s one for my personal use only and the one downstairs for every one else which I have set as my primary console. Downloaded everything fine on my ps4 (secondary) but no access what so ever on the other even on my own account which I used to purchase ttk in the first place.. Wtf?! This is how ive downloaded every expansion to date and no problems whatsoever. Now I'm the only person in my house that gets to enjoy this new content because f**k everyone else right?? When you buy a game everyone should get access like if you bought the disk everyone gets to use it just because it is digital/licence should be no reason to put these stupid restrictions on, I can't even imagine what would happen if other games started doing things like this, totally and utterly disgusting, bungie you should be ashamed. Not the you care though right? Me and many others are just expected to rebuy it for how ever many people play it and in my case that's me and 3 others so altogether £160 ....... No thanks. Unless something changes soon I will be seeking a refund and look forward to reinvesting the money into a game me and my family can enjoy together.

28 RepliesHusband got up early on his day off to go to the bank and make sure we had money in the account for this. Turns out only he can play it. I was already frustrated with Bungie claiming an unfinished game was a 10 year game. (Not if you require the already opened content to be repurchased every year) and the fact that the game didn't open up until level 20 (seems like 40 now) with my biggest pet peeve being a woeful lack of information (that they call "exploration"). They didn't tell us up front that we would only be able to play it on one account on a shared xbox. I have to purchase the entire game, with subsequent DLCs, just to play the Taken King. That's just dishonest, in my opinion. My husband is now in the process of going to the bank to dispute the charge. "Taken" King is right. I'll be throwing my now useless year one Destiny game in the trash with Halo ODST where it belongs. Nice to know ya, Bungie!

Having exact same issue. Bought The Taken King Digital Collectors (moved from disc to digital) on my sons account. But can't access the content at all on my account on the same console. We shared Destiny disc + two expansions just fine before (and also both got the same digital rewards like the Tumbler sparrow). WTF is going on??? Activision/Bungie needs to issue a statement as to whats going on here and how they are fixing it, or when we get our money back.
