My top picks are The Abyss Defiant (no focused fire) and Oversoul Edict. Best ones in general - Stranger's Rifle, Bad Juju, Red Death, Messenger, TLW and Thorn are still very viable short-mid range, and Suros.

I've been doing pretty well with a summoner.

I'm using TLW mostly to cover the close range since I never run a shotgun. On more open/larger maps, I'm using MIDA or Hopscotch. I don't have a messenger but I would probably use that over hopscotch.
