Bungie decrease the faction quest to between Rank 5 - 10
Bungie you need to decrease the faction quest to Rank 5 because getting to rank 25 will pretty much take forever and you cant even level up factions anymore with patrol missions and public event.
Also how do you expect new destiny players to get to rank 25? Even most year 1 destiny players are not even rank 25.
This needs to be looked into.
EDIT 1: If you're already rank 25 and above then what is your fracking problem. How does decreasing the faction quest level affect you. You selfish haters. You better look at my stats before you call me a newbie.
From what I've seen in the comments. I'm happy to renegotiate to Rank 10 instead of 5. This is worse than Xur selling the Gjallarhorn. I did not see you noobs complaining then. But you complain now. So it wasn't fair for the people who played non stop to get a Gjallarhorn.

My closest is rank 13 on my Titan, but I have no issue with the faction quests being unlocked at rank 25. Commit to a "cause" and prove your worth to unlock the quest.

25 is shitty. I worked on all 3 of my factions and have them at 6,5,5... PLUS Crucible, Vanguard, Crota's Bane, House of Judgement, Queen's Wrath... now even the Gunsmith... and you telling me I need faction 25?!?!? -blam!- you.

1 ReplyYou can use ammo synths, weapon parts, armor materials, etc. in addition to bounties to level up your faction. Not hard at all anymore.

2 RepliesBeen playing since launch and all 3 of my characters are more or less around 10 for most factions. Was a little bummed to hear it's 25 but I'm excited to grind for that too! Just one more thing to chase man, it should be welcomed! Seriously though at this point you can pick one faction per character and make it easier on yourself. Let's hope there really is enough to do so you'll be too distracted to care.

I've been playing since September and I'm nowhere near lvl 25 with any of the three factions. Kept my vanguard gear on for most activities

Edited by TheLedBaron: 9/15/2015 1:52:37 AMI started doing faction rep like 6 months in and I'm level 22 with FWC, also, the bounties all give faction rep and the patrols and strike playlist not rewarding rep is a known bug they claimed would be fixed by 9/15.

I have no problem with it being at rank 25. If you say you are not a boob then you should be in the area of 25. Im a day one player and did not start ranking up factions until after the dark below was out. Im at rank 36 with my titan, 20 with my warlock and 18 or 19 with my newly created Hunter that is only 2 months old. They are not going to lower it just because you dont want to grind it out. The rewards are exotic so therefore you should be at a high level to get them.

I have friends who started when the game came out and are well past lvl 40 at this time. So what's the problem?. I started in November and I'm currently 19 on dead orbit I'm not complaining just more things to look forward to. In due time you will reach lvl 25 just keep at it.

I -blam!-ed up. Had Titan DO, Warlock NM, and left hunter w vanguard/crucible = no faction. Pledged FWC two days ago. Gonna be a long haul. Might push Petra missions to get a 240/260 item while progressing to 25 w FWC for the 290 item. If not, my hunter will be -blam!-ed.

On a serious note, you have to have a faction emblem, shader, and mark. And I'm rank 25 with dead orbit and don't even have a shader yet. But you seem to be joking so by all means lower it to level 3 plz
