Bungie decrease the faction quest to between Rank 5 - 10
Bungie you need to decrease the faction quest to Rank 5 because getting to rank 25 will pretty much take forever and you cant even level up factions anymore with patrol missions and public event.
Also how do you expect new destiny players to get to rank 25? Even most year 1 destiny players are not even rank 25.
This needs to be looked into.
EDIT 1: If you're already rank 25 and above then what is your fracking problem. How does decreasing the faction quest level affect you. You selfish haters. You better look at my stats before you call me a newbie.
From what I've seen in the comments. I'm happy to renegotiate to Rank 10 instead of 5. This is worse than Xur selling the Gjallarhorn. I did not see you noobs complaining then. But you complain now. So it wasn't fair for the people who played non stop to get a Gjallarhorn.

2 RepliesWhy even bother levelling the faction at all? Hell why don't we just sit nice and still and maybe they will fall into our lap if we whine loud enough. Like Jesus Christ does anyone still have a work ethic or patience anymore? Rank 25 wasnt a big achievement guy. Hell all I've done in the past two months is bounties, nightfalls and weekly for said faction rep and I'm rank 25-27 for one faction per character. To say you've worked so hard for level 5-10 is a pitiful statement. Especially with the trade in system for reputation now, honestly the people playing this game must have no concept of longevity. the more you ask for stuff to be handed to you the worse the end game is. Suck it up and get to work if you want the real rewards. Not to mention the fact nobody said these would even be the end all and be all of class items. The mindset that you're entitled to the best shit with no effort required isn't going to take you very far in video games and especially not in the real world. So quit being a sissy and do your fcking bounties and be done with it. Ok?

Dude strange coins equal 75 faction rep anyone who doesn't have a decent stock of strange coins to purchase heavy ammo on Friday or did that sooner is IMO an idiot...

Edited by Scuddie: 9/15/2015 4:53:47 AMYeah it's a bit high, although remember that as stated earlier all bounties in a week adds roughly 6lvls (correct me plz) and you can trade in all your supplies of materials and heavy packs. You could theoretically get there in 4 weeks or so. Bungie could pretty much lower the level to 15-20 since it's pretty discouraging for new players. I'm at 25 but it doesn't seem reasonable since it takes forever to get ranked since bounties have been nerfed a bit and also patrols gives no xp anymore.

Yall are forgetting that you need a shader so even if you lower to some thing 5-10 theres a small chance you've even gotten a shader yet(don't care about your lucky shader drops at low levels so don't even tell them to me)

No. Everything is already being made easymode for year two, and the no rep from patrols is a bug, and it's not hard to get ranks from bounties, strikes etc. Plus you can use quite a few items for rep with factions now, so 25 really shouldn't take all that long to get.

It's easier than ever to earn faction rep now. And I'm fine with there being something for the truly dedicated. I'm only rank 13 with new monarchy. Beta player. That's mostly due to the fact that there wasn't as much incentive to rank them up before imo. Now I have something to work for.
