19 RepliesHe won't. Here is how it'll play out. You and your friends are at the tower waiting. You see his ship passing slowly. You stare at him. He clearly saw you. He's acting as if he didn't. Looking dead straight ahead. "XUR! OVER HERE! WHAT DID YOU BRING US??!?!?!?!," you yell in excitement. He still looks straight ahead as his ship moves slowly towards the hanger. He clearly heard you as his window is down. You try again. "XUR! HEY XU......" You stop mid-sentenced, stunned. You are shocked, at a lost for words. His window slowly rolling up as he creaks by. He turns slightly catching your gaze. He turns his head slowly in the opposite way, hoping you didn't catch him looking. He peels off to the right and vanish out of sight. Dumbfounded you sit in awe. Eyes still fixated on where he was last seen. [i]"I thought we were friends. We were pals. How could he do this to me. No hawkmoon, no gally, not even a universal remote."[/i] Next week you ask him what was up. He denies ever seeing you. He tells you it was probably his cousin or someone who looks like him and you are being irrational. He brought you a hawkmoon. This goes on for sometime. Hurting you then making up for it the next week. 8 years pass. You are no longer the youthful beautiful guardian you once were. All that remains is a shell. Going through the same motions week in and week out. Xur shows up. He has a universal remote for you, and something special. "Sunbreakers!" He says in a raspy sultry voice. As your knees buckle and your head bows. You realize you are crying. You've known for a while but were afraid to say it, afraid to acknowledge it; somehow it might breathe it into fruition. You are in an abusive relationship. Lies, broken promises, false hope; yet you keep coming back hoping he's changed. He'll never change.
