It might be hunter only with the hunter class emblem on the exotic perk and the Cayde-6 refrence

I believe it does as well as one of the scout rifles is warlock class locked and an auto rifle for the Titan there is a couple more class locked weapons but they were legendary secondary weapons

It doesn't say anywhere on the hunter exotic armour "hunter only" in the armoury either. I hope you're right, and they're not exclusive, but it really looks like they are.

But it's kinnetic, and with the hand cannon nerf we'll have to see how it holds up.

The First Curse is essential a jab at people that only aimed in with The Last Word. Check the perks, you'll realize it's meant to only aim in. Plus the names are similar.
