So load up one particular character. Look and see if you are missing any chests on the planet on that character (double check, even if you are sure). If you are, load up a youtube video and follow the guide to see where the one is that you are having issues with.

My warlock (main) has 19/20 chests. So you suggest getting all 20 on a different character?

That's definitely one possibility if you're having trouble. You can also try loading up a mission near each chest like the other user suggested- I've heard that suggestion from a lot of people. Can't verify for a fact that it works, but people always seem confident in that option so maybe it did for them, hah.

I tried it on a second character and it still says 4/5 for the same planet. Ahhhhh I hope this gets fixed!!

If all your characters are saying the same thing, that really does make me think you are honestly just missing a chest. I know you don't think so, but it s by far the most likely possibility, you know? I bet at some point you saw a random chest spawn right next to where a gold chest spawns and assumed that was the gold chest. I really, honestly would recommend going to a youtube video and following it exactly, making sure you're in the exact spot they are.

Edited by PurpleFuzz: 9/8/2015 4:14:15 PMI talked with a guy earlier where his last chest only showed up in a mission, not patrol. Try doing venue missions that take you through the same areas. I suggest starting with killing Draksis, since there are two chests along that path.
