There will be haters, even if you read all of this. But I will be using facts from games and previews. If you disagree on any of this, let me know below.
I love halo. I really do. But after seeing most commercials, I think he will. Here's why.
Halo itself is dying. Halo 4 wasn't good, nobody plays it, very few are exited for halo 5. It's just going downhill. I wouldn't be surprised it this was the last halo. In the Spartan lokke trailer (please excuse my spelling), it's obvious that he has accomplished something. Wether that's killing master chief or something else, I'm not completely sure. In Chiefs trailer, it sounds like lokke has done a lot of things to get whatever he was trying to accomplish. But, a the end of the trailer, chief says to him your journey is over. Mine is just beginning. It sounds like whatever lokke has done has required someone else to do something. I think master chief represents someone else. Someone just as powerful a chief. Foreshadowing for halo wars 2 maybe? Also, (not sure which commercial this is from) in one of the trailers, lokke is speaking to an elete (again, please excuse my spelling) about hunting down chief. At the end of it, he says that chief has gone "A-wall" and he has be told to hunt him down. We also see that lokke has a team of Spartans with him. Now the eletes. They have a history of killing Spartans. In halo reach, 5 Spartans out of 6 (I think, can't remember) die. 3 (I think) die from eletes. One got stabbed, one got shot by a gunship (maybe not eletes). If chief has a team of Spartans, and a group of eletes hunting him down, he may not come back. Plus, if he if no longer being supplies by the UNSC with ammo and weapons, he will have to start using alien weapons. And from my halo gameplay experience, most alien guns stink. So these are my reasons for believing chief will die. I probly made a ton of mistakes, like incorrect information, so just tell me what I did wrong. Please let me know what you think.

Last time I checked, a lot more than "very few" people were excited for Halo 5, myself included.

1 ReplyHalo isn't dead though silly trolls, Halo haters and scrubs keep saying it is. Master Chief won't die he may retire from service, but he won't die. If you had watched both trailers rather than Locke's it would make more sense.

Master Chief will not die.

Poll penis

That was some of the worst grammar and evidence used to make a claim

1 ReplyHopefully, yes

The day that master chief actually dies will be the same day that Xbox users hang themselves
-
Master chief is with Linda (best ever sniper), Fred (best all around like chief) and kelly (fastest ever human), he won't die, they are all in Spartan suits aswell
-
He still has to be there for 6 and get cortana back.
-
4 RepliesHe'll probably kill himself because hes in a terrible game
-
Nope
WHY WOULD THEY DO THAT Microsoft still needs to milk this dying franchise for all it can before it drops dead
-
2 RepliesHe should have died in 3.
-
They've already confirmed a "Reclaimer" trilogy. Were he to die, it would be in Halo 6.
-
No. That would literally be the worst decision 343i could possible make.

Edited by Tu Chocolate Caliente: 9/5/2015 12:19:14 AM343 will be butterblasted if they do that, Chief deserves a hero's death maybe in a few years but if they kill him now to be replaced by locke and the -blam!- squad yea say goodbye to Halo.
-
Chief won't die and the elites aren't hunting him, they might be looking for him but Arbiter is on Chief's side.

I wish, but fanboys wanna keep him alive. His story needs to end, whether through death or retirement.
