Just bought Witcher 3 any advice
Just started the download any tips for a no good stinkin' newb lol
Edit: I've played Skyrim and other rpgs but never played a Witcher game so I'm unfamiliar with everything from combat, crafting, and style of play.

Edit 2: thanks for the replies friends. It was really bring at first. Like really boring but I've pressed on and have to go seek some bitch Ciri lol.
Final Edit: Officially hate this game. Story is boring, combat is frustrating, and controls are just play clunky. Trying to loot something has never been more difficult. Keep -blam!-ing combat rolling off cliffs. Keep getting stun locked by simple low level -blam!-ers!

Try not to level higher then the quests for an area or you will not get much experience

Be careful at night. Prepare for fights with tough enemies. Enjoy yourself because it's an awesome game

The Witcher series is not easy (well, the first one is). At times, it's harder than Dark Souls. Prepare, study how you fight, and research your foes. It is not for everyone. It is a punishing game. There is no shame in that.

6 RepliesSounds like you just got too mad from dying a lot, or you just plain suck at it. "Some bitch ciri" huh? Sounds like you're not paying any attention to the actual story of the game. I think destiny is more your fit. Incredibly easy and no story so you don't have to follow along. :)

It takes a while to get going but is pretty good. The card game is very addictive.

I just started my 3rd play-through : ). I'd figured with the upcoming expansion I'll do it again make other decisions then before with the exception of ciri I know the ending I liked. So I can start new game+ when the dlc hits

6 RepliesIn the starting area White Orchard just a little bit to the west there is a level 7 wraith guarding a witcher sword that does 200 damage and is available at level 2. This will help you greatly because you won't have to switch swords until you're about level 12 or so
