A Warmind may be smarter than a Vex unit, but not the Axis Mind. If anything they'd be controlling the simulation. There is a reason Rasputin is thought to be the last Warmind. All others fell, while he shutdown to survive

I think a warmind would be superior due to them being physically larger, therefore having more room for processors etc... that might be what Rasputin wants you to think...

  • We have never seen, nor faced an Axis Mind, we have no idea how large, or powerful they are. They are the Minds that control all the Vex units, they are responsible for what every single Vex unit does. Even then, the Vex are light years ahead of us in technology, some Grimoire suggest that they might even BE us. Either way, the Vex have control over time for reason, Rasputin does not, for a reason. The only Vex units to ever go astray were the ones in the Black Garden. They learned to praise the Darkness while other vex minds thought they could destroy the Darkness. Rasputin, doesn't acknowledge the fact that he is weak, alone and barely operational. Rasputin needed our help in his Bunker He was unable to access the soul system until we activated the last Array He has only just resurfaced. Rasputin is weak, mostly destroyed and by no means larger than an Axis Mind.

  • All the Warminds were able to access stations throughout the Soul system, hence why he was on Mars. He didn't place himself there, all Warminds were able to do it. He just didn't have the power until we opened the Last Array, giving him the ability to reconnect to Luna, Mars and Venus. Even supposed colonies on Europa and other moons of Jupiter and Saturn. He has not evolved away from Human dependence. We stopped the Fallen from hacking into him during the mission where they kept hitting an active firewall. We stopped them from doing the same during The Last Array We stopped the Hive from corrupting him and turning him against us. We stopped the Cabal from tearing his reach on Mars apart. If he needed our help, he has not evolved away from humans, he needs us. Just as much as we may need him. Especially with the upcoming Taken War with Oryx. If it weren't for Rasputin's access to Luna, Eris would've never made it off of Luna. He may have spread, he may have gained access to weapon systems, he may have gained a footing back in our world. But he is still weak, he still needs us to watch over him, he still needs time. He may be coming back stronger, but how long will it take? How long will he go against mission parameters to save himself? He is an A.I yes, much like the Exo. But he had a mission, he may have saved us during the Collapse, but after all we have done and given to him, why does he still avoid us? We are in greater need of his help then ever before. And his mission was and still is to save and protect Humanity. So why isn't he doing it?
