TO ALL IDIOTS WHO DONT KNOW WHY TTK RAID WILL NOT BE RELEASED ON DAY ONE
ok so the TTK raid was delayed and ppl are getting pissed about this and I can't stand how stupid these crybabies are so I'm gonna explain and hopefully this can get through some thick skulls here in forums:
The taken king raid won't be available on day one of TTK which will mean that we will actually have some time to get setup for it.
We have a little bit of time to get our new subclasses worked out, obtain some good gear, get some good weapons and actually be prepared.
[b]If the raid released on day one then here is what would happen:[/b]
The world first completion of the raid would have nothing to do with the first group with the most coordination and problem solving, it would be which group of ppl has absolutely no lives at all and was able to level up to doing the raid the fastest.
World first for the raid shouldn't be determined by who levels their shit fastest, that would be so -blam!-ing lame.
World first will be determined by everyone being prepped and ready, and then going after the raid at the launch time of it.
If you are one of the ppl who is actually pissed and rioting and shit then maybe you should just leave this game because you are a poison to this community.

21 RepliesWhy are you so angry at anyone that wants what they pay for when they pay for it, how would you feel if you bought destiny from GameStop and they gave you just the case for a week then gave you the disc??? If you don't want to play it when it comes out then you wouldn't have to, but just because that is how you feel doesn't mean that it should be withheld from every player, some people have enough time to play and lvl up fast to do the raid on day one or two, and if they do, who cares, bottom line is you should mind your own business and stop being a douche

Vog wasnt available first day either. Almost no one would be strong enough to run it day one. This gives everyone a fair shot at world first.

I don't care about world first and all that. I had just scheduled some time already with my clan mates to do this. We have been prepping specially for it, edging and all that. We are prepared and we have lives. I'm more upset that they didn't tell us about it till it was 2 weeks out is all. If they had told me earlier before I and my clan mates took off time for work I wouldn't care honestly. We know that we won't have maxed everything but that's what made the original vog run so fun. Note that was my clans version of fun, that may not be yours and that's fine. Tldr: bungie please tell us before we scheduled time off.

So those that gear up and level up in time for the raid release have lives but those that level up before or after don't have lives? Who is rioting? Can you share a link to a news broadcast or something of people rioting or was that just hyperbolé? World first is massive epeen, seems like you are hoping to protect that and are worried some may beat you to it.

Just make it great and I'm good. I don't care about the release date too much. Just don't want to b in there with invincible enemies, random teleports. Non functioning relics. Gates that don't open whatever. Let them get the mechanics straight.
