just get a usb 3.0 drive dock and any matching hdd or ssd you want.
it is literally the same thing.
ehdds are only laptop drives in enclosures.
that said, they're made to never be moved or bumped, or unplugged while turned on[ssds don't care about bumps/drops since no moving parts]. most will be just fine unless you kill it.
seagate 3tb models have an absurdly high fail rate over time compared to any other capacity seagate drive.
that said seagate is cheaper and it works, WD is more expensive but has a custom 2tb xbone model with an extra shiny black case.
hdd price varies by store and your location.
