Ever since the FR nerf, these weapons are almost never used, and the only decent one is Vex. I tried to use one in a strike today, but they deal so little damage and are barely effective against groups of enemies. We know their range and cone spread was increased in both modes, and is unfair to players who primarily play PvE. I say return FRs to their pre-nerf state, but for PvE only, no PvP changes.
