34 NoOb's that cant do VOG... YES GRIMOIRE IS A FACTOR !!
So for the last two nights I'm thinking....Could do with a bit of Atheon...LFG, get in a game with 4/5 level 34's...BOTH nights only a couple of the fireteam have a clue what to do. And for the past week I seen on here - GRIMOIRE DONT MEAN $HIT !! topics... Biggest load of crap I EVER HEARD...

THIS IS A PvE "RAID" topic !!!
There are SO MANY level 34's around on this game.... PvP I don't care about..... NOT A FAN... OR a 6 yr old....
GRIMOIRE = TIME SPENT ON THIS GAME = EXPEIRENCE = SKILL.... Sorry but IF you cant see that then you need to change games...

No problem with being a fake 34 & playing VoG as long as they say its their first time or dont kno what to do clearly... When they claim they kno & they refuse to accept advice its when they become a problem..

34 is such a misleading level because its too easy to obtain. When doing hard end game activities then knowing what you are doing is crucial. When destiny first came out if the guy was 30 you knew he was good and you knew he would knkw what ti do and same thing does for 32...but people because 34 on the first day...

I would love to do a raid or nightfall or even POE, but so far for the pasted 3 days I have got nothing from this site nor LFG site. People that already have a group of people to do these things with won't go outside their comfort zone. Which I can't really blam them, but that does me no good. btw to the op even though it's not a raid. I see the same thing in regular strikes. People run ahead and die or have no clue where to go or what to do.

Same thing happened to me no me and my friend where the only ones who could use the relic and the idiots on my team didn't have the knowledge to shoot oricals

Grimoire matters! ...but only to a certain point. You can have a high grimoire score from playing crucible and collecting ghosts and still be worthless in a raid. That being said, I've been trying to finish some things out and get the max grimoire score (for Xbox1) and now we find out it won't show your grimoire score unless somebody inspects you in TTK...I'm disappointed.

Grimoire doesnt matter. I've played vog with people who have over 3100 that dont know simple vog mechanics or know how to use relic

Taking the time now to learn the pivotal roles like relic use instead of being a passenger. Still believe I earned my 34 as I was active in raid. Many roles to play, not just relic use.

It annoys me when people jump into Vog hard without even doing VOG normal. What happened to mastering vog normal then taking on vog hard as I did ??

I give everybody the benefit of the doubt but when I see someone truly being stupid I inspect them and see low grimore and bad load outs almost all the time. I just laugh and make sure I brought plenty of heavy synth.....I'm gonna need it. I was guilty of this on my first vog run in January. Went in with a Dr nope, a blue shotgun and a decent purple tracking launcher. But I told everyone I was new and took direction from the experiences players. If everyone did this things would go alot more smoothly.

I kinda feel the same way about the crucible with the 3v3 modes. If your not lvl 30 or have 2k then I'm out. But I have played with people that had over a 3k grim score and still never ran VOG. What can ya do I guess lol.
