I'm approaching this release with eyes wide open. I like a lot of what I've heard and seen lately. But, I've bought into the Bungie hype before. I got hooked on their product...and ass--blam!- by their crazy-addictive game and tactless treatment of this community.
I'd be lying if I said I won't be disappointed not to be playing on September 15. But, I know for me, the right thing is to wait and see. I need to see excellent reviews from folks I trust. I need to feel like Bungie listened to us - the Year-1 Beta Testers.
So, right know, I'm cautiously optimistic; which is a f u c k i n g long way from throwing money at the screen.
I'm good. Be well. Peace.

1 ReplyI think (hoping) from this moment on us guardians will be getting the content we want than the previous dlc's. I'm always optimistic when it comes to destiny. Love the game and I want it to succeed. But, I don't agree with most of their business decisions and I'm worried how much of a stronghold activision has on Bungie. My eyes are open too! I'm hoping things just get better from here. TTK looks amazing to me

1 ReplyIm not getting it all together, tired of doing the same vanilla shit 3+ times every week and getting nothing out of it. Tired of bungie being blind to our opinions and the only thing they see is a wallet with money. I'm giving up my addiction to this bland game and I know after the shit taken king most others will follow. They fooled me twice before and theres no way I will be fooled again. Later bungie, have fun being hated.

1 ReplyYeah I'm falling on the line as well. It looks so good yet I can see some faults. The VIP rewards for year one player could use a little tweaking. This would be a great idea for Bungie to consider AND ITS NOT TOO LATE : https://www.bungie.net/en/Forum/Post/150597455/0/0

5 Repliesbump. Especially with Fallout 4 coming out--along with some other games--it's gonna be very difficult for me to want to purchase TTK. Aside from the amount of money Bungie made, Year 1 was an absolute disaster for Destiny in my book. Really hurt Bungie's reputation.

1 ReplyI already preordered, but I'm keeping a microscope for the NEXT dlc, so I can be extra sure I know I want it. For now, I feel like the taken king meets my expectations

4 RepliesThem new dance moves, though... [keeps money in wallet and doesn't throw it at the screen] Emote Gate lives on.

1 ReplyI read the Game Informer article about TTK yesterday and I instantly wanted to preorder it. But then I stopped. My heart still hurts from the disappointment I experienced in year one, I feel like I'm being tricked. "Look at these shiny new things I have for you! I won't beat you anymore, I promise, I've changed." I will wait and see how it looks from the outside before considering venturing back. I also forgot that the mrs. and I traded our copies of destiny in for dying light to great success. Did you know that every zombie in that game is named Deej?
