no you can't dude, again only year two items can be used for infusion.

He said don't dismantle it because it all adds up to the new Light level system, but they made it clear infuse is only a year two feature.

I took it to mean that only year 2 items can be upgraded. Not just only year 2 items can be used for sacrificing as well.

you can only use year two items, when he upgraded the Suros, only year two weapons where shown to apply, even though he had year one weapons on.
