1 ReplyIt won't be a flop. It'll sell. Even if you or I see it as a let down, they'll make plenty of money off of it.
-
Then we'll know that the ppl who do buy it r the ones who actually enjoy playing and don't butch and moan about anything
-
1 ReplyThen destiny will be frisby'd out my window
-
1 ReplyBungie will stop, I hope. The game is tired and TTK will fail. The live stream today confirmed that. There are still fans that will buy just for the name, but probably not enough to maintain for 10 years. Well all just move on. Plenty of new games.

Going to have a big laugh at all those Bungie royal guards and Bungie scholar.
-
It will become my favourite drink coaster with a fancy picture of 3 guys on it.

If it flops like TDB or HoW....its dead. When those flopped, there weren't the AAA games dropping like they are now. That's why, even after those disappointments, Destiny maintained some of the original base.
-
Halo 5 will be put into my disc drive, and destiny will be put into the trash can.
-
1 ReplyIt won't "flop" but if it's a disappointment then support for subsequent releases in the series would probably suffer greatly.

For me, personally, this is destiny's last chance. HoW got old quickly & was a halfassed dlc. PoE is boring and repetitive. The saving grace was ToO which is lame now as well. For whatever reason, I've gotten hooked on PVP or I'd be done. TTK looks promising so I'm willing to give it one more shot.

1 ReplyWhen, not if, I think. If Bungie somehow failed with HoW/TDB/Even the base game despite the trailers/hype I don't see how TTK will be much different. A game will always be less than it's hype. It's proven everywhere. Developers take select few features that pop up once, maybe twice, a small gimmick that runs all along it and mixes it up into something amazing, like it's a 100% guarantee of what's to come. TTK looks tempting, but like I said it's all just select features hyped up. So there's some new gun designs, all of them were probably shown in the trailer with some of them cut off for DLC. A greatly increased level cap just means lots of grinding instead of things to do. The story campaign just cannot be good considering it only focuses on one enemy. Strange marketing and exclusives also don't promise much. New Grimorie cards seem like the most exciting thing to me. And again, Bungie is heavily biased towards Warlocks, giving them insane perks and a super (I thought it would end after the endless Nova Bomb "montages" being on the Weekly Update). Titans' super looks interesting, but doesn't look like it will execute well compared to, say, a Golden Gun. Hunters' super does looks a bit balanced surprisingly. I heard something about a super-oriented gamemode, that looks like torture for Titans who have to doge Golden Gun shots, Nova Bomb blasts from beyond, rival melee-super Blade Dancers and firey grenades everywhere just to potentially get a lucky Fist of Havoc kill. Ward of Dawn would be laughably pointless as well. If it doesn't flop, I'll actually applaud Bungie, and consider buying it a few months after release, for seeing sense. Not often does a company do that once they've gone down that route.

29 RepliesIf it flops you'll see a lot people on the forums complaining. If it's a huge success you'll see a lot people on the forum complaining.

2 RepliesHas anyone seen my cat? I'm looking for my cat! It's black white feet, they look like socks! Please let me know if you see my cat!
-
1 ReplyI'll have Gears ultimate edition and MGS to keep me entertained
-
TTK is still part of D1, and D1 is fundamentally flawed. So yeah, don't put too much stock in it till D2 drops. Now if D2 is a flop..That will be huge.!!!
-
Players will leave due to other games, but some will return
-
by just have 2 different versions of the exotics alone is def gonna keep things spiced up .
-
It wont
-
MGS5 then FO4
-
> People whine > People still play > People continue to whine > People continue to play
-
Ill stuff Caitlyn Jenner's cock in Luke Smiths mouth
-
4 RepliesThen I'll quietly play fallout by myself. But this game has such addicting qualities I don't see us not grinding for the "new gear"
-
There will of course be problems with the dlc so peeps will leave.

Shit will drop

1 ReplyEdited by NYDIBS: 8/19/2015 6:29:07 PMpeople will still make excuses and jump aboard the hype train I preordered ttk early, when I was still into the game, but I think I'm done either way

It's too late for me. Bungie already screwed up too much
