I am sorry that someone was that horrible to you. It is completely unacceptable to talk to someone that way. I play with a woman on a regular basis (I hate even having to point out as she is just a Guardian like me) that is quite frankly a better player than me or any of my male friends. She has dealt with some jerks and understands that she as a woman could get some unique abuse but also knows that men can get unique abuse as well. I wish I could help you level and tackle end game content but I am on the Xbox One. If you are looking to tackle anything with a group use Destiny Reddit and the subreddits r/fireteams or r/destinysherpa. I have never had a bad experience with people from there and they have been super nice. If you ever get an One and need a teammate do not hesitant to add me and send me an invite. You should also look into Dames of Destiny they are a clan composed entirely of women that promote a healthy and safe environment for their members. The multi gender clan by the same creator SafeGamers has the same purpose. Hopefully this does not put you off the Destiny community as I have found it to be one of the most accepting and understanding of any gaming community I have been a part of.

Get an Xbox one if you can, I feel there are more mature people in the xbox one community. I'm a female myself and have never been disrespected like that. Hell all the guys i play with are just so stoked to have a girl on their team. Don't let people being dicks to you online ruin gaming for you! Yeah it hurts sometimes, but in all honesty they are probably so pathetic and bitter towards girls because they are forever alone and can't talk to girls in real life!

They were shallow attempts to make them feel better about themselves at your expense and you've better things to commit your time and emotions to than these sad individuals. See your first mistake was playing on Xbox 360, only people who are still on the 360 are little kids who don't have jobs and mommy and daddy won't buy them an Xbox One.

Ok, to all the people saying there "white knights" everywhere, that isn't really true. People just care about others... Also, A) Sad to say but, I have actually heard this happen in my games of crucible a lot so this is very easy for me to belive. B) To people saying this is for attention, stfu. C) This is for you think this is made up, just think about it like this. (Keep in mind, I have no proof about any of this, just going off of belief.) I can vouch that this really does happen in games, also, most people wouldn't take the time to make up this story to try and pull a couple heart strings, some of the most unbelievable stories are the true ones....

I am glad you shared... people don't have to read these posts. I am sick of seeing who "earned their Gally" posts flood this forum. It is sad that the trash talking happens like that, but if those were the names (poster shown below) you can tell they are prolly 13... next time tell them to use the big boy voice when they talk to you. I would mute accordingly next time, I have to in COD too. The only game I gave played that didn't have such jerks was Mass Effect.
