Title :"How to make xur not ruin ttk" AS SOME PEOPLE SAY, I wouldn't say he ruins the game, I think that he is a good idea, but poorly executed. THE IMPORTANT STARTS HERE 👇👇👇👇👇👇👇👇👇👇👇👇 Xur should sell weapon engrams (in exchange of strange coins) or different weapons to everyone instead of the same. Think about it, xur (who works through RNG) is the guy who is able to ruine the rarity of every exotic in just two days(except ps exclusives).He will keep doing it in ttk, imagine that he sells the lightning auto rifle, everybody would have it and it rarity feeling would be ruined instantly (its rarity should be ruined, I mean that everybody should end getting it, but no thaaaat fast and while no one still has the firelord just because xur didn't sell it). Xur selling exotic weapon engrams (limited to 1 w. engram per account per week) or different weapons would fix it. I could get the tex mechanica shotgun while my friend gets the blinding sniper or a hawkmoon, wich will be in xur's loot table in TTK. Getting pre TTK exotics should be a risk, xur wouldn't sell every week the new exotics anyways. 1. Xur wouldn't ruin guns unique feeling, at least on a single weekend. 2. It's inventory wouldn't be a disappointment anymore, it would be a chance, a hope... 3. Remember the RNG improvement, the weapons you don't have have a higher chance to drop (don't expect too much btw) It's the same as the xur's RNG but more personal focused so "it wouldn't ruin the exotics or the game" as some people would say. It isn't because of the gjallahorn btw, I'm happy for who got it this weekend so they can try it pre-nerf, theres are better weapons incoming. EDIT 2: Some people is confused about it, you can get one engram per account each week (max 1 engram per week), the idea is just diversify the xur's loot so everyone gets different exotics, making everyone have "his rare too see exotic" and not killing its special feeling in just 2 days, not letting you get from xur multiple different exotics in just one week. EDIT 3: What happened in week 3?? Xur sold the suros, everyone got it, some people without even having one legendary. Everyone used it, it was almost the only primary weapon I got killed in the crucible for a month. It became op just because no one had better guns to use (even the shadow price had a better time to kill, it still does) and because its glass half full, bungie nerfed the weapon overall so hard, not just its exotic perk. Just saying that this system could have prevented it. The last word have been ever more broken (and it hasn't been nerfed) than the suros, come on... how many people did you instakill with the suros?? If TLW would had been sold instead the suros on week 3 it would be the unusable gun, not the suros. It could happen again... In TTK, destiny 2 or whenever you want, xur has to be fixed.
