Create Your Own Modifier!

Lets see the creativity! The person who comes up with the best modifier will have his featured in a future nightfall strike! -> "BUMP" a fellow guardians modifier if you like it! Rules: Create a Title and then the description of the modifier next to it, for example -> "Spoiler" - A timer on the screen will hint at when ammo crates will drop from enemies and which kind. Featured Modifiers: Salohcin J -> Hot Swap - Modifier(s) change(s) every 10 min. AmazingNitrox z -> Chemical Reaction - An enemy killed with a different weapon burn than the burn of their shield will cause them to explode. Squiffles -> Third Eye - Third person point of view will be active. Jaded Rabbit -> Hollow - Enemies don't have shields, and neither do you. Eddmario -> Jackpot - Increased glimmer and engram drop rates. Edit // Lets see some negative modifiers as well, who doesn't love a challenge right? Am I right!? Edit 2 // Lets keep this trending guys! I really want bungie to implement some of these amazing modifiers you have come up with! The creativity displayed here is absolutely awesome so keep it up fellow guardians!!! :) Edit 3 // With the new changes coming to the nightfalls in The Taken King, make sure the modifiers you create take that into account!

    • Friend or Foe: Team Damage is Enabled Whack-a-Mole: Reviving a teammate causes you to die. Priorities: Firing weapons causes you to lose health. Blast Shield: No Radar, FoV Decreased, Auto-Aim increased 300%. Action Hero: AI Accuracy is decreased, AI Rate of fire is doubled. Glass Cannon: Infinite Ammo, Guardian health is greatly reduced. Legacy Mode: Hipfire Accuracy is greatly increased, weapon sights are disabled. Wounded Animal: Guardian jump abilities are disabled, Guardian Melee Damage is greatly increased. And finally, Important Things: Game runs at 60fps, Bungie throws money at their engine team instead of their marketing team.

            • Vision active: Call of duty hit markers, internet meme'd multi kill audio notifications, and randomized one liners when activating super. Killing enemies with super result in another catchphrase or one liner and missing results in random sounds of Rekt. Dying prompts a wasted animation .... Will be revised and improved later

              • We need enemy specific modifiers. For instance, if it's the Summoning Pits, which is hive only, you would have 4 or 5 different modifiers for the hive. One for Thrall, one for wizards, one for acolytes, one for knights etc. One example is for Thrall...thrall are twice as fast and their melee attacks poison you. Only way to get unpoisoned is for one of your teammates to heal you(hold button down like revive) Each hive enemy type would have a modifier that changes something about the way they behave. Only one enemy specific modifier would be on the nightfall. This would give the strikes more variety and replayability.

                        • Burden - less agility, lower jumps. Springboard - more agility, higher jumps Rainbow - enemy shields have a random charge. Shielded - Enemy shields increased Farsighted - Sniper Rifles deal increased damage Near Sighted - Shotguns deal more damage Charged - Fusion Rifles deal more damage. Pyromania - Everything ignited takes more damage and stays ignited for longer. (Viking Funeral for everything) Lopsided - increase charge time for supers, decrease charge time for grenades and melees (or vice versa) Vampire - All melees activate life drain (enemies included) (elemental) Dampening - weakens (elemental) damage from any source

                              Carpet burn. Carpets deal 200% more damage Montage. No scopes deal 200% more damage Fatty. Unable to jump, sprint and 50% slower speed. Moon walk. Can only walk backwards Casual. Death automatically completes the mission and awards you. Last gen console. Game plays in 720p and you are unable to open the menu in a reasonable time frame. Any crucible match ever. All enemies lag switch and use blink shotgun combo. Baboon. You get disconnected as soon as the final boss is killed.

                              • High Priority: A Guardian is Marked. Protect that guardian or die. Switches every 2 minutes. The Light and the Dark: Each Guardian is allowed to equip his inventory full of exotics. Enemies gain an increased damage resistance (20%). Heavy weapons deal less damage (20% --> 30% less damage), but shields on enemies are no longer active. Cauterize: Damaging low-health fellow guardians starts their health regen. Damaging them at full health diables their shields. Overcharged Shields: When a Guardian's shields go down, an electrical charge is delivered to nearby enemies, stunning them and taking down 25% of their health (except bosses). Shields take twice as long to regen.
