I main a Titan.
The invis perk makes up for the weakest super in the game because it allows someone to sneak up on someone undetected and shotgun them in the face. I still think it's the weakest super in the game though. Discuss.
Update: it seems that the non hunters have no idea what they are tslking about. Try playing a BD you will see that their super is not OP at all. Go ahead and say the Defender is the weakest. Meanwhile, it's one of the best in PvE thus negating that argument from an all around stand point.

I only use it when I'm doing well but I'm in trouble and need to kill that one guy

So its anad super bc you suck at it???

Edited by Dizzlecess: 8/15/2015 6:05:35 AMI mained warlock, then Hunter, now Titan. And I'm torn between Titan and Hunter. I prefer my Titan in most cases but my Hunter is so fun to use, especially since I got the bones of eao

I think all supers are good depending on the situation, but there's a huge imbalance in the number of orbs generated from killing yellow bars. Crota hard yesterday, I generated 9 orbs with my warlock sunsinger wearing Light Beyond Nemesis when killing two ultra Knights, compared to my buddy's hunter blade dancer killing another two and dropping 2 only.
-
I don't know what you are tslking about
-
In PvE, yes. But I do like it in PvP, could use a slight damage boost in both modes
-
I razored edge someone and they went into Nova Bomb and only lost half their health. I get one shouted by rockets. It's not that great.
-
It's really weak. Shotgun melee kills it. Given you have to get next to someone or use razors edge it's not great at all
-
The thing is though, you can miss/hit a wall with fist of panic and nova bomb so is it (fyi gunslinger has the best super)

2 RepliesAlot of ppl butt hurt cause BD isn't half bad in pvp but there's little protection while running around trying to kill ppl. It's almost worthless in pve. The only time I use it is in end game to use invis for res and clutch moves. Tldr: I agree with OP... Hunter BD is not meant to be an overpowered super but has uses in very specific instances when used correctly.

If you know how to bladedance properly you can wipe the team out no problem. Blink from guy to guy or if in a group hit em with a lil showstopper.

Nuff said

Gr8 b8 m8 I r8 8/8

The reason people complain it is op, is because they don't know how to counter it.
-
A Melee Super isn't good in a Shotgun meta? Who would've known!
-
Sucks in pve....beast in pvp. Opinion about an auto aiming melee super that can heal or increase usage time.....irrelevant.
-
Yeah, in PvE the blade dancer is sad...I wish they would buff him...IN PVE, I MEAN.
-
1 ReplyThen why does everyone decide to GTFO when they hear electricity and see blue sparks near a hunter?
-
1 ReplyYeah because it was nerfed to the ground instead of balanced. the Bungie way of handling issues
-
I prefer golden gun Works better with me. But BD usually works out for me. And when I see another BD I run Bc I know they'll -blam!- my shit up Takes time to get used to

3 RepliesEdited by TeddyBundy: 8/13/2015 8:46:14 PMSorry to say that, but your whole profile squeaks "I'm a scrublord and I really have no fucking clue about this game!" Bladedancer is not that good for PvE, but one of the best Skilltrees in the game for PvP. Quickdraw, Hunger Blade, Blink, Ark Bolt Grenade, glitched out Blink Strike, etc. Only players that don't know how to use this class use invisibility. Why don't you just shut your mouth if you know by yourself that you don't have the slightest idea of how this game works?

If you know how to blink and be evasive with arc blade, then shotguns won't be as much a problem, if all your doing is sprinting or dashing to someone to try and kill them, then of course you're going to get blasted in the face by a shotgun.
-
I slay out bladedancers so much its just like any other kill at this point. Only thing that makes it useable is the ground energy wave thing

6 RepliesEdited by GuardianGroove: 8/13/2015 6:59:58 PMI actually wiped the hole team this morning using Bladedancer, and they wasn't all close together. I main a hunter and I myself too think it isn't OP, but it's pretty useful. I actually think Bladedancer should get an armor buff due to the simple fact that I should not be dying when I'm bladedancing to one shotgun shell. That isn't the case when I use radiance, a nova bomb, a fist of havoc, or even a golden gun at that.
