Is hidden hand pointless on some guns? (Hopscotch)
Hi,
Just got hopscotch pilgrim at the weekend and it had what looks like a great roll;
Red Dot OAS (enhanced target acquisition)
Feeding frenzy
Braced frame
Hidden hand
Now it feels great to use, but, given the aim assistance on this gun is 50/55, wouldn't red dot oas max out aim assistance?, meaning hidden hand is completely useless? Isn't this the case for all guns that are already close to their max aim assistance?
Interested to hear, as don't really want to reroll, but think I might have to now.

1 ReplyI think red dot, rodeo, braced frame and headseeker are the best for Hopscotch. I have retired my Thorn because of it.

I have one with feeding frenzy, armor piercing rounds, and glass half full. Pretty decent roll

9 RepliesI try every single perks on hs, they all useless ass long u have brace frame,, a good roll will be rodeo, counterbalance, with highcaliber rounds, if u have weapon parts just try something fun, cose no matter perks u have is 2 burst kill,, I got mine with rodeo counter balance but no lucky with hc rounds, no more weapon parts to reroll

I don't think hidden hand is a good perk on the hopscotch .It has plenty aim assist out of the box . I'd roll it for something like reactive reload

Best off get a stabiliser perk or something that complements your playing style.

Edited by Speck311: 8/10/2015 2:33:11 PMGood question.. I tried out a lot of the perks in that slot. Hidden hand seemed best and seemed to help more to ensure heads hits landed. Hard to tell with latency so bad. Doesn't really matter soon though.

It's completely useless man. If you weren't sniping then you wouldn't get any benefit from it. Infact, that perks works nice with only QBB.

Honestly, if it isn't a sniper I wouldn't even bother with it. Pulse rifles I would rather outlaw and reactive reload/headseeker Headseeker on high impact like hopscotch, reactive on medium impact like all fate

22 RepliesHidden hand is good for sniper tbh. Other than that there are better perks. On a pusle there's headseeker and reactive reload, much more useful than hidden hand.

4 RepliesI got rodeo head seeker and small bore on mine and it has the same stats as messenger an has 2 burst kill also so no need to sacrifice range for braced frame in my opinion unless your trash at crucible just saying
