Give Titan's Sunbreaker a blink ability?
Why not?
I realize this poll will be skewed because two-thirds of this community doesn't want us Titan's to have it. So, to normalize the poll results... multiply the YES votes by 2.
EDIT: Stop saying Titans are the tank and not agile. Titans can be very agile with the right setup and gear and currently the Warlock owns the tanking crown. You all do play this game, right?
BOTTOM LINE: Blink is without a doubt the #1 defensive evading tactic in Crucible... it's also the #1 offensive tactic to get into position for kills. So, blink is single handedly scoring more points for Hunters and Warlocks. Blink evades death. Blink helps gain position for kills. It's really a two-pronged tactic that negates kills and scores kills. It's far more powerful than many are giving credit to. Titan's are at a huge disadvantage without blink. Of course I'd rather see Titans get a bigger tank, but frankly Bungie is ass-backwards right now, so blink would be the perfect balance. The cheery on top final fact is just for you all to look at the stats... Warlocks and Hunters own pvp. It's not because of their super... it's not because of their melee... it's because of blink. Period. Get real people.
AT THIS POINT... HOPING THE NERF TO BLINK WILL FIX THE PROBLEM.

Blinking is not a part of the Titan Codex. We don't learn to rip space and teleport through it. Warlock do, and Hunters learnt it from them. They can't Titan-skate.

No blink. Doesn't fit in with the character archetype. Could maybe have a whole new jump, like a sprint jump or whatever, but the whole point of playing as a Titan (IMO) is to be tanky, not speedy.

1 ReplyI only voted yes because not having blink is what is keeping me from playing Titan more. I've accepted the awkward T-rex arm melee by just not playing such close quarters, but I can't stand the jump AT ALL. This makes me sound nuts but I'm much more comfortable with the Warlock glide.

Switching things like that up will just make all the characters to similar. If you want that stuff use other characters.

Just use control jump and triple tap you move just as fast as blink. Blink is primarily used to get away from things the triple tap works the same way for the titan.

Oh how funny. You think speed is the same as agility. Saying Titans can be FAST is not at all a reason why they should have blink. Warlocks and hunters are AGILE classes, and therefore would have faster reactions to be able to blink. Taking away all logic from this, based on lore, Titans wouldn't want to blink. They go and get stuff done, warlocks and hunters don't go Rambo as much and actually took the time to learn how to blink, something Titans didn't.

Nah, leave it for the hunters and warlocks, there should be a difference between the classes and the jumps are it. I like my titan lift, tbh I don't use blink anyway ( ends up killing me! ).

Titans mit get blink just because of that subclass being solar and nether gunslinger or sunsinger have it like bladedancer is arc and has blink and voidwalker has blink and its void there is no solar subclass that has blink yet but the reason why titans mit not get blink is because of how buff the look
