Lets talk about how crappy PS4 (DS4) Controllers are..
3rd R2 Trigger is on its way out already..bought this controller not even 2 months ago! will be going back to Walmart to replace it with a new one... FOR FREE...the cycle never ends...lol...this gen sucks!
how many controllers/triggers have you gone through?
i never had the analog sticks wearing off, but i've replaced the r2 trigger twice on my first controller that came with the destiny bundle...but now its suffering from the pressure sensitive problem, can't even do burn outs in GTA V.. sigh
What problems do XBONE users have?

I play in 2 PS4s, and play with 2 controls in both places because sometimes I forget to recharge them. I've replaced 2 R2s in both controls in my Destiny main PS4. I still have one spare. I just wish they sell R2 only, my other buttons are perfectly fine. The other PS4 where I usually play single players is still intact.

Still on my first controller, but the left analog stick's rubber cover peeled off about 2 months ago.

4 RepliesI replaced a bunch of R2 triggers already, ordered a bunch online and replace them myself, it's quite easy. I'm much more careful with placing pressure on triggers now though. I do agree that they are designed very poorly and could use a couple adjustments.

I have yet to replace a DS4 controller, and I've been using them since they released for both PS4 and PC.

It has always been the R2 button. -blam!-ing last night first time my L2 broke. At least it's still within its 30 days Edit: my Xbox one controllers work fine

Haven't had any problems on XB1 yet, but I rotated two controllers, and I recently started using a scuff.

I went through 2 pads with clicking on the analogue stick to run. I cant help but crush them into oblivion.

I haven't had the R2 problem, but my first controller that came with the console did the thing where the camera always pulled straight down. My new controller (blue DS4 from GameStop) doesn't charge very well. Sometimes I plug in the controller and it doesn't start charging, sometimes the controller dies in an hour on a full charge.

Im not a fanboy of any console But yes the ps4 controllers are shit The xbox controllers are way better

I am xbox one, I have had my controller from Day one and have 0 issues with it. I have PS4 and had to replace triggers once, probably would be more if I played PS more often. My only other complaint with the PS controller is that is is to small, I have larger hand and my hands get cramped up using the PS4 controller. This does not happen with the xbox controller. Just recently got a scuff and really like it though.

My first XBONE controller lasted a full year when the Left Analogue Stick wouldn't re-centre itself properly. I was always walking to the right very, VERY slowly. My second controller is coming up to a full year now and has no problems.

I've never heard of someone's triggers not working before now, and I have a lot of friends with PS4s. You need to treat your stuff better

Using left stick and trying to pull back on the stick means I'm always pulling slightly left. It messes me up more than you would think. Pretty much every time I'm trying to backpedal to where I think the door is I find myself slightly off and it is frustrating to say the least. Interestingly I haven't noticed this sort of problem in the right side. Only other thing I can say, about controllers in general, is less squishy buttons and the like. Triggers included, the gameboy advanced sp had the best buttons.

I'm still using the dualshock4 that came with the ps4 a little over a year now, looks brand new however the vibration is beginning to feel loose.. I'm sure the vibrating motor would give out with the next year.

2 RepliesThe controller that came with my Xbox didn't last long. The mic plug got jammed into the controller because it's a poor design, then my A button stopped working. The layout on the bumpers also makes it harder for finger pokers like myself (as opposed to people who roll their fingers onto it) to use the bumpers, compared to the 360 controller. I've gotten better, but I still occasionally whiff on supers, and holding the bumpers in for an extended time kills my finger and hand. Like when using the relic against Atheon and keeping the shield up.
