3rd R2 Trigger is on its way out already..bought this controller not even 2 months ago! will be going back to Walmart to replace it with a new one... FOR FREE...the cycle never ends...lol...this gen sucks!
how many controllers/triggers have you gone through?
i never had the analog sticks wearing off, but i've replaced the r2 trigger twice on my first controller that came with the destiny bundle...but now its suffering from the pressure sensitive problem, can't even do burn outs in GTA V.. sigh
What problems do XBONE users have?

1 ReplyWhat do you people do to break your controllers ??? I just don't understand. I have 3 ( black, anniversary grey, red) and neither have ever given me problems
-
My r2 button always breaks after using an auto rifle for a while.
-
Haven't had any troubles with my controller, been over a year
-
2 RepliesYup, i have gotten through two controllers in 18 months for the same reason (left then right trigger respectively). On the second one that went the rubber started wearing off the thumb-sticks, however, they have had 18 months of very heavy use.
-
It's hit or miss with the controllers.
-
I bought 2 controllers right after I got the ps4 so I just switch between the two every time I play Haven't had any problems
-
I've had my controller since release day of ps4, apart from the analogue sticks splitting (I bought protectors for £2) I've had no issues with mine... I guess I just look after my stuff well?
-
Ive had one L2 trigger break. But I did hurl it across the room. Had to put thumbpad covers on my launch controllers but Sony would have replaced those if I cba to send them back. I did discover a youtube vid that showed if your triggers start to stick because one of the hinges snaps (like mine did) then removing the spring inside fixes it. It's a little spongy but works fine.

Since buying my ps4 back in October I've gone through a whopping total of zero controllers. I take care of my shit
-
Still on my first, though I still think that the trackpad and share button are mostly wasted space.
-
I've gone through five now. Three broke in the first few months of PS4. Had a lucky run but two just broke recently. I like the controller except for the R triggers design which is crap. The L and R 1 buttons occasionally get stuck too
-
My Danes chewed mine (briefly) , however despite a crack and some teeth marks its working since launch, well call it rugged..
-
9 RepliesI have a launch PS4, the only problems I've had are the rubber wearing off of the analog sticks. The controllers still work fine though. It's my favorite controller of all time.
-
Lol my controller does none of that
-
Had my two from the day it was released and they both are good as new. Maybe don't be so hard on your stuff?
-
Edited by emorobo: 8/5/2015 1:43:13 PMNever had problems with the triggers on my ps4 controller
-
2 RepliesI had to take mine apart and femove the springs on the triggers.works great now
-
1 ReplyEdited by S3CR3TN1NJA: 8/5/2015 1:34:01 PMBoth my controllers are perfectly in tact, but maybe it's because I have r1 set to my shoot button and it takes mashing a lot better than the r 2 button?
-
I've been using the same one for about a year, still working fine for me.
-
1 ReplyI'm really confused cause Mne are absolutely fine
-
Uh, I still have my PS4 launch controllers. I use them everyday. Only thing wrong is the rubber on the thumbstick.
-
Still on my first... Getting a little unresponsive on the buttons though... I have a reload addiction...
-
Quality and reliability is awful, however the buttons feel solid and I like the ergonomics.
-
The only problem has been the analog sticks and the rubber wearing off from the left analog stick. (From all the sprinting)
-
Mines been perfect.

I play in 2 PS4s, and play with 2 controls in both places because sometimes I forget to recharge them. I've replaced 2 R2s in both controls in my Destiny main PS4. I still have one spare. I just wish they sell R2 only, my other buttons are perfectly fine. The other PS4 where I usually play single players is still intact.
