3rd R2 Trigger is on its way out already..bought this controller not even 2 months ago! will be going back to Walmart to replace it with a new one... FOR FREE...the cycle never ends...lol...this gen sucks!
how many controllers/triggers have you gone through?
i never had the analog sticks wearing off, but i've replaced the r2 trigger twice on my first controller that came with the destiny bundle...but now its suffering from the pressure sensitive problem, can't even do burn outs in GTA V.. sigh
What problems do XBONE users have?

Stop abusing your gear. Still cracking on my launch day controllers, they easily have at least 1500 each and not a single issue.
-
I've had no problems with my ps4 controller. Going on a year.

Literally 0, one of the best controllers I've had in a while. Soooo much better than the Xbox one controller
-
I have never broken an xbox 360 controller. At one point it was drifting but it stopped after awhile. Tbh I hate the feal of ps remotes
-
4 RepliesI can only imagine what you must be doing to your triggers to break them that regularly?! I've got 2 PS4s and a total of 4 controllers - one of which has been in very regular use since December 2013 (probably around 700 hours of use) and has been dropped by my son countless times. Apart from initial wear on the thumb sticks (before I switched to using thumb grips), I've not experienced any issues; although I'll grant you it's just getting to the point I'm thinking about reconditioning the thumb sticks as they're feeling a little more 'loose' than I'd like
-
2 RepliesHow do I replace the trigger? Gone thru 5 lol
-
4 RepliesThe only time I've had to replace an xbox controller was after 4 years on my 360 because the ball joint on the analogs were worn down and dirty from so much use :P
-
2 RepliesMy Scuf (ps4) controller is going 8 months strong now. Not a problem. Sony DS4's, I have a pile of them worn out.
-
Only problem is the rubber is wearing off on the analog sticks. I actually like them though
-
1 ReplySwitch controls around so you shoot with r1 :)
-
1 ReplyThe only issue I have is the rubber on the thumb sticks started to rip. So eventually I replaced them with sticks from an Xbox One controller which lasted a little while till they split too. At this point I gave up on rubber and got a set of aluminum sticks. Been happy ever since. =)

1 ReplyEdited by CrazyCadder: 8/5/2015 3:23:04 PMMy Xbox day one controller crapped out after a few months of use. The replacement has been terrific. However, the joystick shafts are showing dust from the plastic rubbing. Accidentally dropped it twice. Now it rattles loudly when it vibrates.
-
Mine sometimes drifts- moves the guy in a different direction than im pointing for a quick second. Replaced it, and the new one still does it a little bit. The old one worked fine for a long time though
-
1 ReplyYou must be abusing them, I still have the same controller since I got my day one ps4, no issues. I play a fair amount of games too. Don't mash buttons
-
Ive had one where R2 spring went out. And another where my ps button is on its way.
-
Huh. None of my buttons have any sort of destruction on them... Everything still works fine... (Day one same controller)
-
For me .. I've gone through three DS4's since destiny came out ... The X button is totally gone from all the double jumping With that said it's probably part my fault for pressing tooooo hard but still
-
Hmm I never have this issue with my Xbox One controller and that's my preferred console. I used to have a PS4 and use it HEAVILY for like 6 to 8 months for Destiny and nothing ever wore out. You guys must be some hardcore gamers or really thrash your controllers.
-
8 Replieson my Ps4 controller its the L3 button that keeps going out, I run in destiny then I just stop for no reason
-
Been using the same 2 controllers since December 2013.
-
None.... I guess you have a shitty Walmart
-
I have one xbox controller that constantly move my character forward. The other my puppy thought it was his. Haha
-
Gone through zero, own three. Had PS4 like 18 month now
-
1 ReplyYou're very unlucky, my Playstation 4 destiny edition and its controller work just fine, also my Xbox1 controller works beautifully, just that annoying click on the LB & RB grind my gears, other than that the controller on current generation, for me, are just perfect Ps: when I get upset I don't smash them against the floor
-
I tried to use a PS3 controller to play the destiny demo. I did not like it, the Xbox controllers are better because the triggers have to be mashed in on the PS3, but not on Xbox, and the controls are reversed on PS
