I just don't understand the logic. Have you not seen good K/Ds?
-
My girlfriend likes a bigger k/d. I was charming with a 1.5, but she rejected me. I got it up to a 2.6 and she couldn't resist.
-
3 RepliesI get annoyed if I go below 1.8 in a game

3 RepliesEdited by SneekySneaker: 8/5/2015 4:59:32 PMIf I didn't suck in pvp I'd be bragging about 1.5, but alas I suck at pvp and I will forever be relegated to being with marginally acceptable, and I'm ok with that
-
1.5 is a good kd. What's wrong with it?
-
2 RepliesGlobal average is like 0.6 k/d. So 1.5 is almost triple that. I read that in a reddit article a month or two ago
-
Cause it better than a 0.50 kd
-
1.5 is better then going negative. If you're a 2.0 player crushing other people they are probably the 1.0 to 1.5 guys, if it wasn't for differences in player skill people wouldn't have better scores. I would rather go into a fight with a solid 1.5 player, then some kamikaze case who knows nothing but rush, and when that fails keeps rushing to feed the other team points.

72 RepliesEdited by Vex Mythoclast: 8/5/2015 8:49:25 AMAnd yours is any better?
-
kd doesn't really matter thats an overall its about how good you are now
-
....I knew a dude who bragged about taking a giant dump once.....size matters...allow me to illustrate:

Edited by A4EEL007: 8/5/2015 1:04:37 PMYou have a 1.7 but you only have 900 kills. Some people have a 1.5 with 10,000 kills and are way better than you. When you get that many kills then you can brag about k/d And a 1.58 on your 2nd hunter lol scrub with 2 hunters.
-
Guy made " I went flawless! " post and a couple a people say congrats, but someone makes fun of him for having a 0.88 kd, and is just being an asshole. I point out that he's noting special with a 1.44 kd and he's being a dick! He calls me a retard and mutes me? What a dickhead lol
-
Because their RL is meaningless
-
5 Replies1.5 kd is top 10% in the world so it's pretty good actually. Not everyone can rock 2.0 KDs man.
-
Edited by cViking: 8/5/2015 12:56:01 PM1.5 would be considered above average and for someone who does not play PVP a lot this may be good for them. I myself have a 1.6 KD on my hunter and am in the 1.4 - 1.5 range on my other two classes, I crush people with 2.0+ KDs in rumble all the time. Why is this? A lot of player with 2.0+ KDs are not very good without there team. Also a lot oft hem just try to camp a lot and back out of matches they start to die often in, I see this happen very often with a wide arrange of streamers. Not saying you are bad because you probably are not but hating on someone because there happy with there 1.5 kd is just stupidand makes you look stupid. Another thing is my team goes 9-0 pretty easy in trials every week with our 1.5ish KD's. Another Thing I would like to add is that your overall KD is 1.93, IMO you really have no room to talk in less your average KD is 2.0+. Info was gathered via your Destiny tracker profile.

5 RepliesOne of these days kids will learn that KD doesn't matter as long as you win. Somebody could have a high KD yet be the least objective minded player or simply not a team player. I'd rather have teammates that know how to play as a team as opposed to caring how much a number looks to others. If you get teammates that can do both then that's great. Playing with a good team is the best way to have a high KD. If you are playing by yourself and actually trying to win then your KD is going to be lower than somebody who plays with a full group of six Please go watch truly competitive FPS games and tell me what some of the pros KDs are against others at their "skill level". All that matters is how you played that last game and then you move on to the next one. That's why people look at KD spread .....not ratio... after games.

I try to use different weapons stretching from Auto Rifles to Scout Rifles. Some effect my LD and some improve it.
-
Why does anyone brag? Small childish egos, mostly.

2 RepliesEdited by Dredgen Lore: 8/5/2015 12:56:05 PMKDR to determine skill is outdated, destiny PVP is all about medal score. Edit-thought this sums up my position That's a fair point, but a poor player won't possibly be able to accrue the same medal score as a skilled player even with the same exorbitant time played. On the other side, an average player can play a few games with shady connections, lesser experienced players, out numbered, without a thorn or TLW, or with final round, any number of "exploits" or imbalances can cause a KD to manipulated, more so than medal score. IMO.
-
Well if they are proud to have a 1.5K/D then they must really suck at games
-
1 ReplyEdited by TeddyBundy: 8/5/2015 12:55:32 PMBecause they're better than 90% of the community, which is more than enough to have fun and not giving a shit about you tryhard-elitists.

2 RepliesWhy do people brag when they've under 40 for best single game kills?
Camping scrubs
-
3 RepliesIf you were to play people at your skill level, you would be lucky to break 1.2. A pack of n00bs appeared! Lets absolutely trash them!
-
7 RepliesI brag a little bit but that's only because I have a 3.1KD.
-
I don't have a KD..just a D!
-
So few kills... I'm guessing you play with really good players.
