Christian Guardians
I was just wondering how many Christians (of any sect) are here playing this game.
I've noticed that this game has some religious things in it that point towards Christianity, such as the Traveler being God, guardians being angels, and Fallen being demons.
Just a little observation.

What is with all these religion posts, separation of church and tower people!!! There is hundreds of religions who guess what? Believe in a god.... Guardian = angel is something that really isn't there and why just fallen there's 2 other enemies also, demons are spirits not live creatures so that's shot. In the end, everybody put your religion/lack of and just play the game! People are still people regardless of what they believe so just find good PEOPLE to play with.

I'm a Christian and don't let ppl bother you. You have the right to post what you like just like those that aren't religious. So you are free to post about being Christian anytime as much as you want and for the people that don't like it then they should ignore it. Keep posting its good to see something positive.

Hell has A/C but only one channel on the radio. It's a mild 125 degrees everyday (Dry heat) and the shifts are 9-5 Monday thru Friday. Mostly just road work and editing Wiki articles. I got a good gig there for a while but I was covering for a friend.

13 RepliesHi, atheist here. 1) No real relatable religious stuff here. I mean, the Vex had the heart - which we destroyed, the hive had Crota, and now Oryx. The cabal are based of Roman forces, so, they'd be more partial to a multi-god religion. And the fallen are pirates, so, in the words of Alestorm, they put their faith in "cannons and whores". 2) Guardians aren't Angels, come on, angels need grace, not light to survive, didn't ya know? Guardians are revived in order to protect the city, so, unless there's a war upon the heavens, no real reason this is religiously based. 3) Your religion is supposed to be a one of peace and forgiveness, to which I just quietly giggle. You use Christianity like a banner to hide under, and its just sad. I used to be Christian (catholic if it matters) but, seriously, its getting to a point where the more vile people come out and claim to be Christian - good for you, now go to church, tell the pastor what you've been doing on the internet and pay penance: your certainly not upholding true Christian values. 4) Religion is a very big battleground and has been since the birth of religion. It may be Islam now, but it used to be Christianity. The dark ages, the Borgia, the Spanish Inquisition, the Crusades (Child crusade anyone? Yeah...) So, people using the banner of Christianity have done some pretty appalling things - religion is becoming a moot point, its no longer about worship...its now more about warfare on others.

Do we not see the obsession Bungie has with Egyptian Gods and lore? Osiris, "The Golden Age", just some thoughts. Even those Hunter Gloves are for an Egyptian god.
