Atheist Guardians
I'm wondering how many non-religious guardians there are out there.
Edit 1: over 300 replies, didn't really think I'd get this much feedback honestly.
Edit 2: over 500 replies, keep it up!
Edit 3: over 600 replies!
Edit 4: so I wake up this morning and find that this post has over 2000 replies. Was never expecting that to happen. I see a lot of logical and mindless debates going on.

Honestly studied philosophy for a minor in college and my family was never really religious

I was athiest for most of my life. I was sad. Angry. Then I got diabetes when I was 23. Wow was I mad. A young and fit man now with a never ending disease. Took me way to long to see through the fog. Now I am a very happy healthy man with a great family. Once I embraced and stopped fighting everything changed. The key is to NOT be "religious". Generally "religion" is man screwing things up. Its all about Jesus for me. He loves me. Even when I screw up. Daily/hourly lol. Thats the short version.

6 RepliesFrom my personal experience, Atheist are some of the least tolerant people I've met as it pertains to religious beliefs. They also tend to be some of the biggest self righteous douchebags. But that's my own personal sample size. I do not believe this speaks to all of them.

I mean, technically they're similar, but I view atheism as "There is no God", and non-religious is more "Religion is a waste of time for me, but if people find it helpful, it's no skin off my back. Just keep it out of public policy, and we're good". Maybe that's just me though

12 RepliesWell can't be atheist because that'll mean you have absolutely no beliefs, however religious nuts seem to be running rampant and think they can force beliefs on others which is retarded. All wars are caused by religion. Why be a part of that? People just trying to look for a deity of a higher power so they feel secure in this chaotic world. Because if they don't, anarchy will run through the streets. Just live in the moment not by what a book tells you.

Why does it matter what your religious beliefs (or lack thereof) matter in video games, I'm personally an apatheist, meaning that the concept of religion (or lack thereof) shouldn't matter in day-to-day life

That is the main reason I will attack religions. If you force religion onto children, indoctrinate them before their brains have fully developed, they I have no time for you and will attack your religion and beliefs without hesitation. If you keep your religion to yourself then go right ahead. I don't care.
