Edited by ArcTiC 0c3An: 8/5/2015 9:51:50 PMHow would you define inbreeding rules if it were legal? (I'm all for incest but inbreeding not so much.)
-
Edited by aceebro: 8/5/2015 10:00:30 PMI wouldn't. The problem with inbreeding is that genetic disorders are more prevalent, due to the fact that the partner is also likely to have the disorder. If you restrict inbreeding for that reason, you have to restrict reproduction rights for everybody that has Huntingtons, couples where both have the recessive Tay-Sachs gene, etc.

Edited by ArcTiC 0c3An: 8/5/2015 10:08:04 PMFair enough. Those who did decide to inbreed would simply have to be more careful about any traits in their line they don't want passed on. Also, I wouldn't want to outlaw reproduction rights but perhaps have a mandatory or free medical checkup. This would insure the couple knows what they could or couldn't pass into offspring.

Agreed.

No. That would serve no purpose.

I changed my comment as I realized it wouldn't serve a purpose haha.

Should be? ~FACETABLE~ You're one of them...

Somebody that believes that their own personal moral codes shouldn't be forced upon others? Because if not, I'd love it if you'd elaborate.
-
What I meant was You're one of those who wants to -blam!- his sister or mother or whatever, probably cuz it's easier than going out with someone.
-
I don't have a sister.
-
So it's your mom you have the hots for? Either way, my point stands.
-
Your point is factually incorrect.

Funny how arguments fall apart when they're based on personal insults.
