An honest discussion about white racism.
If you can make an all female clan, an all black clan, an all Asian clan, an otaku only clan, a tradesmen only clan, a fathers only clan, a transgendered underwater basket weavers only clan, and those are considered acceptable, why is it suddenly discriminatory to have an all white males clan? I don't understand people's logic. This is actually proof that SOME (very heavy emphasis on some, I do realize that there is still legitimate racism out there) anti-racist ideals are honestly just anti-white. If a Japanese man is proud to be Japanese and decides, "You know what? I'm gonna start a Japanese only clan," (I use Japanese as an example, you could insert a lot of other races or cultures or hobbies or genders here) why is it suddenly "racist" to have a proud white man do the same? Can someone please explain this to me, I honestly don't understand. And please, feel free to point out any logical fallacies I may have. I make it a point to maintain a fairly level head when debating.
Edit: Just to clarify, I DO NOT actually want to join an all white clan. I don't care about that. I'm posting this in response to someone making a post about starting an all white clan and it being removed for violation of conduct. I do not believe it to be fair considering the other clans that exist that are the exact same thing but a different race or gender or whatever have you.
Edit. Again, I personally do not want to be part of an all white clan, I do not like the idea of ANY clan of ANY ethnicity being that exclusive. I do however understand that some people are more comfortable being around others that are the same as they are (in any manner, be it hobbies, religion, race, ethnicity,etc.) and I feel like every race should at least have the option to do so without being socially shamed.

Because we are supposed to feel ashamed about white imperialist history. As if other races and cultures haven't been just as bloodthirsty and horrid in their past (and more so) We are also supposed to feel ashamed that we have a gender "pay gap" and other such crap. I hope you feel as thoroughly ashamed as I do, only this will cleanse our polluted white souls.

Honestly, there are less white people than Asians or Indians from India... When you look at the world as a whole white people are a minority as well.

In my town, there are plenty of black, whites, hispanics, asians, browns, yellows, purples, blues, greens, and many other races. It might be because of the marine base as well. If there aren't minorities in your general area, that's probably why you don't see it. That's my understanding of it, anyways. Also, #OFFTOPIC

54 RepliesThere is no such thing as white racism or reverse racism. Racism isn't isn't offending names or stereotypes. Yes those things are byproducts and sure indicators of racism or racial division but not it in its self. Racism is the systematic social, legal, or otherwise oppression of a minority. Reverse racism doesn't exist. White people have never been oppressed because they're white. Part of white and male privilege is acknowledging that white males have long since controlled society and that those who are not white and male have a distinct disadvantage in that society because of those race and gender. Creating a white male only group isn't on its face racist but is offensive because there is no need for such a group. White men have never been neglected from a group. And most groups (in gaming I'd wager) are homogeneously white and male as it is. If you want to be in a group that is white and male exclusively they already exist. Creating new one to be its sole purpose to exclude other other genders and races is an offensive ignorance of white male privilege. Privilege exists. It's nothing to be ashamed of. But when you deny its existence you both offend those who lack it and hurt the race relation debate by suggesting there are no racial issues to solve.

24 RepliesBecause unlike everyone else whites have a history or racism and supporting slavery. Donald Trump is a perfect example of MOST whites that are republican in this country. Racism doesn't necessarily mean skin color it also includes gays and anything else that I guess you could say isn't "NORMAL" which in my opinion I could care less about skin color or if you are gay or straight. Like I said before white people are either hated or are restricted to doing groups that only include their kind without being attacked due to your history. You have no one else to blame but your old generation so like most things just deal with it like how black people have to deal with being pulled over for doing nothing or how Mexicans have to deal with being called drug dealers when they just want to work and support their family or how asain have to deal with people mocking them how they look or how everyone from the middle east has to deal with being called a terrorist because a country took down its own towers with its own people to blame another country to go take all there oil.
