We changed up Trials of Osiris this weekend and rather than playing on one map for the duration of the event you saw a random cycle of the six previous ToO maps. In the Bungie Weekly Update we asked for your feedback on this so I wanted to collect your opinions here. Did you like this experiment with a random rotation or prefer mastering one map at a time? Let us know in the comments below.

1 ReplyMap rotation is good for the experienced but worries me when it comes to new players. It requires u to have team work and skill but if your new, it maybe a lot harder. I know that trials is for the competitive and hardcore players, but if your goal is to also bring in new players, u might want to think about.

Make Trials for everyone. Map rotation is good.

6 RepliesAllow me to summarize whats been going on here. Good players, true pvp players, and the ones who play trials and crucible a lot all want map rotation to stay. We know the maps and strategies for each one so we want more variety than one map a week which is boring and lame We are the ones bungie should be catering to Bad players, beginners, and people who play trials once in awhile tend to want one map a week, so they can learn the maps and keep a consistent strategy between games These are the people you should not cater to Heres why: the solution to their problem is to play more and gain experience, not to have one map per week. By going into trials every week and playing regular crucible more often, they will learn the maps and strategies within a short time. Problem solved For everyone else, the "one map a week bored out of my damn mind" problem cannot be solved on our part by doing anything other than to stop playing, which is not what we want and not what bungie wants. So in order to keep US (the vast majority) playing and enjoying trials, bungie must keep map rotation for all future weeks so that we dont get bored and quit

4 RepliesStart with listen to the huge criticism from the community regarding the up coming weapon patch. You speak about how much the community matters to you but not ONCE have you replied to any of the threads about it. Please understand that we do NOT want it in current form. You didn't listen at all when auto rifles got nerfed the first time and now you see it was a huge mistake. Don't make the same one again. Our will you just keep ignoring this and hope we will forget about it!?

I did enjoy the map rotation, it gives certain players an edge depending on what map because of preference and how much the player likes the map more often than not will yield a victory.
-
Rotating maps was better and should be left that way. It works well for crucible so should be the same for trials

1 Replydo this all the time..... and add the old maps!!
-
Take out exotics and supers.
-
Loved it! It really makes it a lot more fun and interesting to have to change up your strategy each map. Now if we just get the spawns to flip after certain rounds, THAT'D BE PERFECT.
-
1 ReplyThe sides need to switch after heavy round. Maps are too one sided

Edited by God dag mann, økseskaft!: 7/29/2015 3:32:33 PMI liked the map rotation. Nobody was doing the same thing over and over on the different maps.
-
I like either map rotation or a spawn flip when 1 team reaches 3 wins.
-
I liked the full rotation of all of the maps at the onset of each match, just like in standard Elimination. Random map for each match. And I would like to see Elimination as a permanent event in the Crucible. It makes it better for building fireteams, especially for players that are not as good at PVP work with more experienced players so as to increase their skills.

Cycling maps trials was the most fun experience with trials yet please keep it this way only. Also please add every map to the rotation really want to play trials on anomally and assylum. Just add them all please love trials more maps the better.
-
Please keep it
-
I liked it more, there was more variety
-
I love the map rotation. It shows that you have to be able to compete and have different strategies for each map.
-
It was nice have a bit more variety, with that variety came some more on-the-spot strategies. The rotation really made it more of a surprise to what kind of strategy my team would use in one map. On the down side, some teams may not entirely be working too well because of the rotation of the maps since they don't have their strategy set up before the game starts. As for me and my team, we had a blast, keep up the good work! ;)

2 RepliesI personally liked the rotation due to having a mixed experience, I probably spent 5 hours doing trials this past weekend and i enjoyed it because it wasn't like i was going to play constantly on one map and do the same things over and over again. If possible keeping trials how it was last week would be amazing. Keep Up the Great Work!!!! -Spazzing kitty Xbox-360

Yep myself & fireteam all thought it was better, any chance of the other maps being put in as well?
-
Keep the rotation
-
It was good until it repeated back 2 back maps giving advantage to who ever played it the previous map. I know we were all like please God not Widows Court campers paradise
-
I really liked the rotations... We sometimes got the same map 3 times in a row though... That was annoying. Please do something about the shuffling algorithm.

8 RepliesAdd maps like the anomaly, asylum, and remove Thieves Den!
-
Map rotation again please
