The original Flood existed on halo.bungie; they had a very real creation date but their end date (death) is debatable. Some would say the launch of b.next ended the Flood. Others might point for the launch of Destiny as the end date. Others might even claim the community died before b.next. It's all about perspective. Either way, the Flood died. The original section was split up into #Offtopic and #gaming. Now we are indeed a community here in #offtopic, but we are different than the original Flood and pretending like we are the same community is wrong. We have a different culture and a different community of people. Both the Flood and the New Flood have some of the same members, but all and all they are vastly different in terms membership and content. Those who view account age as an important factor are relics of an older community that no longer exists. We should judge people based on content.
