Do you judge people skills by their age?
This is a question I am really curious about. I am only 14 years old and my stats are pretty good at my age. So what do you guys think?

1 ReplyNo, But i do judge their emotional capacity. 9/10 anyone younger than 18 will freak out over the game not going their way. That goes for pvp and pve. You may say you're the exception but id have to see it to believe it.

If you're a 10 year-old destiny badass and you DONT shriek and babble senselessly while we are doing the activity, ill play with you anytime. If you come on and start rambling, fast, loud, and obnoxiously, or start issuing orders like you're suddenly the boss, ima kick you tha fu ck out. I dont judge players by age, gender, color, or grimoire. I pretty much base my opinion on how well you work on a team.

No, but technically speaking younger players tend to have better stats then older players (30+ yrs old) due to the faster reaction time younger players have

I never doubt someone's skill because of age. There are some young kids that SHRED in crucible. In fact there are a lot that do. However, I do doubt whether they will be a know it all, be able to follow directions, and have patience in PvE stuff. Call me stupid, but I'd just rather not do skolas with a young person. Skolas isn't necessarily about skill, it's about patience and communication. Shriekers tend to be impatient and want to do things their way. So I imagine a lot will just keep hitting skolas instead of clearing waves, not communicating essence, etc.

Yes and no. When I hear a loud, screechy, high pitched voice I just lower my expectations. Idk why but it is always these people that are commanding people do something and I have a hard time taking orders from a 11 year old

Considering that Activision dulled the shit out of the game to make it more suitable for a younger audience I would say that they will have the same skill set as older people because the game is so dull even little kids can grasp it and older more mature/wise people can't get any better an understanding then the 8 year old it's just that's simple

Age doesn't determine skill. It's like just about everything else. Talent + Experience. You can be hella old, experienced, and still be garbage. You can be young, with little experience, and be good. [spoiler]You can be in the middle with a bit of both and be totally average, like me. (23 y/o)[/spoiler]
