What is the point of the Taken King Raid?
Just like what happened with the Prison of Elders loot, what is the point of the Taken King Raid rewards when the new Iron Banner and Trials of Osiris rewards are better looking and more useful?

2 RepliesSo the raid we know nothing about, is already being put down because PoE? That sounds extremely thought out. I mean, the raids so far have given us just horrible loot so far, like: 1. Fatebringer 2. Praedynths revenge 3. Corrective measure 4. Found verdict. 5. Black hammer 6. Word of Crota 7. Hunger of Crota 8. Fang of ir yut. 9. Oversouls edict. But no no, you're right. The new raid has zero chance to offer good loot. Why even play it right ?

3 RepliesAll these PvE only players that talk about the Trials adept weapons being more useful...they are only more useful in PvP. None of you would want anything to do with them in PvE. As bad as shank burn is, it's more handy in PvE than third eye or Icarus.

Elemental weapons have a 1/100 chance of droping from the hardest PVE activity in the game. They always drop as rewards for going flawless in pvp... And each take about the same amount of time if yo don't mess up....

2 RepliesAs a collector who can't stand the game's PvP, I second this. Shaders and armor look amazing and I'll probably never get them. My brother has the opposite problem, he enjoys preying on people who don't have the only 5 usable weapons and has basically 4 sets of Trials armor and every Adept weapon. How did they go from the game that made Xbox any good, balanced and fair in all things-- to this sluggishly calibrated, unbalanced load of tat that rewards the rich with seemingly endless riches? And no. A random drop chance for an elemental burn primary with a completely useless skill tree or a random chance at randomly getting an exotic that looks amazing but in practice is subpar...vs. a guarantee at loot nearly every game and a guaranteed adept weapon with almost always useful perks...and possibly the most unique armor yet implemented. And those PvP weapons are better for Nightfall than almost all of the Crota's End + Prison gear [i]combined.[/i]

The game is going flat in the wrong direction.... Rip. PVP methodology has destroyed the PVE player base, which is the great majority of the buyers. They are stupid, flat out.

Because this game was advertised as a huge open world RPG adventure. Not a lagging unbalanced online shooter.
