All these new weapons for the Taken King are great but...
Where the hell are we going to keep all of them? My vault is full plus all my characters slots are full. I would hate to have to delete weapons and armor.

the problem is that if you make raid weapons obsolete, then why do the raid? not many want to do it just cuz. i think that raid weapons and exotics should be the only ascendable weapons. but if they really want to see more variation in weapon use, they gotta drop the kentic damage and go with only elementals, either that or have kinetic weapons actually deal equal damage and throw in a kinetic burn in nightfalls

They need more vault space before the new dlc. I know I'm hoarding a few weapons I shouldn't but Thats besides the point

You can almost guarantee that year 1 legendaries won't carry over so you will delete them all to make space as you get replacements.

I htry to get complete sets of activity specific weapons and armor, like complete raid sets, or complete trials sets, rest get sharded. unless its a weapon i really like.

Still holding on to The chance (hand cannon) Grim citizen III (auto rifle) Zombie apocalypse (machine gun) The supremacy (old queens sniper) The old queen chest and helm peice. Original jolders hammer and timurs lash. Plus gear. I will never delete them lol

9 RepliesI dare say you are a Destiny version of hoarders.... What do you have in your vault that is actually worth keeping? Give us your list, and I can tell you, if you are willing to do so... about half or more of that crap can be scrapped.

Here's the thing even if the expand the vaults expect to have to delete gear you cannot expect to always be able to use the same gear the whole way through destiny.

And class specific weapons is going to make it even worse!

They don't want you to keep all of your old weapons, so they are't going to give you any more vault space. Simple as that.

all I know is, they will have to pry my controller from my cold dead hands to dismantle my pocket infinity. I still believe in that gun, it's godly 8 mag size status.

3 RepliesApart from the fact that they are hinting all of the old weapons should be deleted, they have also said that TTK will have more weapons than even the launch game. So even if we do delete all of the old stuff, where to we store the new (unless they backtrack and give more vault space). However we don't know what level the weapons are. If a lot of them are common/uncommon/Rare, they will be looked at and then deleted by most players.
