Aren't you embarrassed bungie?
After the weekly update on weapon balancing, I saw the forums blow up with titles saying I quit and complaints about the nerfs. Are you going to respond? I also am disappointed about some nerfs. Please, at least ice breaker. What do you guys think?

Why would they be embarrassed? They are riding this train straight to moneytown. Regardless, i think all these forum titles with people whining and threatening to quit are mostly water under a bridge. The same thing happened with the last weapon balance update. The game didn't die, and 90% of those people that complained back then still play. I don't think everything needed to be touched, such as icebreaker, black hammer, and gally, but i can so their logic behind each one of those nerfs. While i don't like them, i see why they did them. Sometimes decisions have to be made for the better good of the whole. If people were getting excluded from groups for not having a gally (and it did happen), then they are absolutely justified in nerfing it. The change to icebreaker will make it less of a crutch as well, such as on nightfalls where you would just camp in the back somewhere and just unload shots. People will probably still do that, but it is making using icebreaker more of a risk reward, rather than a go to. do i like all the changes? No, but who will? everyone has something that they use that is being nerfed on that list. I am ok with them though.

Both sides should be embarrassed. Most of the community over exaggerating about the gjally and bungie didn't specify how much. Bungie giving a weak excuse to nerf the gjally. Not their call to house people on how to make teams since they didn't give us ways to make them. If you want to nerf it then just do it. It is being used excessively. But don't mess it up like you did the pocket infinity. Black hammer and ice breaker were out of left field but are easy to work around. The rest of the balancing except a fusion rifle buff are okay for now. We have to wait till the download comes to debate!! People are being impatient.

I don't think Bungie will change weapon balancing due to community feedback. I believe they've invested too much in the changes to go back to the drawing board. Perhaps they'll change one or two obvious things (shiny ball, LOOK!), but the biggest nerf affecting all year one perks will go untouched.
