BUNGIE and ACTIVISION learn from Witcher 3 and free DLC
Bungie and ACTIVISION , you could learn a thing or two from the people behind Witcher 3.
Ridiculously big world, lots of things to do, oh and the occasional free DLC.
Dont be so greedy. Scrubs.

Free DLC would be nice... A strike or a PvP or permanent PvP game mode would be nice. But I don't understand all the Witcher 3 praise. To me, the game is super boring and I'm not interested to continue after 15 hours.

The game itself is hands down amazing. I just made a similar argument in a post I made. The price of the witcher DLC is dirt cheap for the content. I just wanted to point out the free dlc part.

21 RepliesTo be fair, there have been free content updates for Destiny. New weapons, armor, shaders, higher level caps, bounties, and even multiplayer maps have been added for free.

I recently bought that game for my uncle cuz he's really into skyrim and stuff, after finding out about all of its free content, I thought about getting myself a copy.. we need more companies like those. Anyways, I agree, bungie SHOULD learn from them. Maybe add on gun skins or facial hair could be a start. Small strikes might make good free content. Anything with a raid or new crucible map should be priced. Also I might start playing Witcher real soon so deuces guardians

And the occasional clothing options for your character after that not much is free as in expansion or ground breaking multi missions that involve a story last I saw you had to pay for those .-. So it's free in a sense you get to make him look pretty!

Learn from GTA 5 , best selling game series. Good story , great dlc. Why has no one thought of this ? Gta5 and Destiny. Both for both systems. Both are fond of being in groups to do certain tasks and missions. Both have stories. Both have vehicles. Both have costumizable characters and clothing/armor. Both have enemies , maybe even waves. Both have many dlcs and changes between them that still go on now. Both are ways of getting stronger through level. What is the difference ? One did every one of those things right. GTA5 doesn't exclude dlc content from other systems. Gta5 doesn't exclude optional matchmaking , they give you the choice. GTA5 story mode has around 20hrs of story and or more. Also adding the fact that traveling around the terrain of GTA5 is far more fun in your customizable car than it is in some star wars speeder or a space ship used as a loading screen. You have the choice to change your look and your clothing which you may be different from others but be stronger , where as in Destiny as they say "Limitless costumizations" it's like risking to walk outside the apocalypse with good looking clothes you likeor a full armored up body. In the end , GTA5 did it 10 billion times better than Destiny. But the scenery is what makes Destiny look good compared to GTAs modern scenery of life.

First off, it called marketing and greed. Get over it, as long as there are human on this earth there will always be greed. Second, where has Witcher 3 gotten with free DLC content? Not a very good opposition.

I do like the free witcher dlc, its a nice gesture. You hop on and see theres something and its free, it gets you a tad excited and it even gets you playing the game. If you ever came on and saw a free destiny thing like a weapon or armor you'd probably hop on and see what it's like. It makes people feel appreciated and gets them playing your game.
