Husk of the Pit not dropping
Destiny Player Support recently launched an investigation into the drop rate of "Husk of the Pit" due to a noticeable increase in player reports that it was not dropping. We learned that there is in fact a bug that's preventing the Husk from dropping during the "Fist of Crota" mission. Please read Destiny Player Support's [url=https://www.bungie.net/en/help/article/13160]official help article[/url] for more information on this subject.

5 RepliesI would just like to say I'm extremely disappointed with the final verdict of the fix. It's now been all summer that I can't get the husk, and now that school is rolling back around, I will have very little time to farm for this gun. I would just like to say that the fact that this fix is getting piggybacked on the taken king update is very upsetting and shows the true intentions of Bungie.

I've bin playing since the game came out and still don't have a Gally but I'm not crying about how many times I've dun raids and nightfall.If one gun means the end of the world then dome people need to take that first step out the door into this thing we call the real world lol

So ok.I just posted in help about this as farm for a week 3 hours a day and no husk so I guess it won't drop then arrange last exotic I need plz fix this I got 3 crux of crota to use

You telling me you can hot fix a raid glitch but you can't update a simple weapon drop rate but you can fix raid cheese in 1 day but this is to hard?

Thanks for fixing the husk of the pit drop rate. Good thing I only have to wait another month for it to drop. I was afraid it might take longer.

Do you feel that increasing the original drop rate excuses you for encouraging players to run the mission 1000+ times when the Husk wasn't dropping? I am not asking for a free Husk, but atleast acknowledge the fact that this problem could have been handled better and that you essentially betrayed our trust, even though it was not intentional.

Why are people so pissed that it's another month? Husk isn't the only thing happening in that update and it's not like husk is the most important thing! Right now work on getting all the materials needed to upgrade it then continue playing like normal then when the update comes out you can get husk. Jeez what ignorant bitches...
