Cabal Actually Good Guys?
With the info from the grimoire and the trailer for TTK could the cabal be in the same situation as us?
Could they be against the darkness like us?

I believe the cabal and fallen join to take down the hive that's probably a good reason why we haven't seen the cabal anywhere else but mars hopefully with this dlc they'll explain more about what's going on

Edited by LordKelpyG: 8/16/2015 3:58:47 AMThe Cabal are most likely are allied with the Fallen (As seen in concept art of them together fighting Guardians multiple times) but I don't think we will be teaming up with them to fight the darkness. The Cabal could have just sent the distress signal for a Fallen house to pick it up but then the Vanguard traced it down much faster. Since the tower isn't allied with the Cabal I bet they will turn to shoot us as they do when they are fighting Vex on Mars.

Originally I think the cabal were supposed to be our allies but in the final version they are a power hungry military force geared for galactic conquest. So really I don't think they are dark themselves but rather a neutral group that are in it for themselves

I'm pretty sure it's been leaked/mentioned in the game that the cabal were running away from Some godlike entity.

The cabal could kick anyone's ass from their descriptions. Who messes with people who blows up planets for no good reason? Their land tanks look like the size of a ketch.

4 RepliesCabal and fallen are both good guys... the only darkness in the game is the hive... the vex were created to protect the traveler but started to worship the heart of the black garden instead... and theres actually a mission cut from the original story where you would of seen the cabal and fallen are actually allies

Cabal are not the darkness, just very territorial, guardians explore into thier land, which caused a war with the tower

The cabal have their own motives; as do we as guardians. But which would you desire, live to fight another day? Or fall to a planet conquer?

1 ReplyMy question is if the vanguard revived a cabal distress call, why would we answer it? To check on whatever it was to save our own skin? If we stepped into a war with the cabal why not let them fall to whatever it is that's making them run? I'm sure that the cabal suddenly aren't going to turn over a new leaf.

2 RepliesThe cabal are not allies. If you watch the trailer. You will see the cabal fighting us. Hell there's a fire titan fighting a cabal tank I'm a cabal base.
