Did Ice Breaker Deserve the Nerf?
Explain your answer, I'd say no because it fulfilled a certain niche that an exotic should do.

1 ReplyIt's kind of weird that they would nerf the time it takes to regen ammo It only holds 6 shots, and you can pick up any ammo so it kinda relies on ammo regen. But I guess 2 more seconds won't make that much of a difference

True, if they are gonna extend tge charge time they shouldn't also lower the damage and they should add 2 more rounds

Didn't know people still use IB. Re-roll a good sniper like efrideets spear to have firefly and you won't miss IB.

Hells no! I don't have anyone to play with and lfg never seems to work for me so I depend on ice breaker for a lot of things !

Nope but if they are gonna do it they should increase the clip by 2 rounds or so. An extra bullet or 2 would be more reasonable with the increased ammo respawn time

I am fine with it if bungie fixes the problem of dying then spawning with no ammo. Because then you have to wait for 48 seconds, which is a problem.

Yes people listen before you go nuts people chill in cheese spots on raid and sticks this just is more insensitive to not sit there and cheese the struck or raid

I don't use Icebreaker much nowadays. After the nerf/ update, I won't use it at all :(

1 ReplyDidn't answer. Haven't used it in months and definitely won't use it now. I stopped using it because it took too long to regenerate ammo... so the fix is make it take even longer? They got some real geniuses working over there.

BORING. It should still be [b]sorta almost kinda useful to patient noobs[/b] though. A very niche use for a special player, kind of like NLB or UR. Icebreaker deserved a small nerf, not a massive [b]60% nerf.[/b] I guess Bungie is just bad at this.

No because it now takes 48 seconds to fill up an entire mag of an EXOTIC weapon which can not obtain special weapon ammunition and can not contain reserve ammo.

Yes, it sped up end-game PvE content and as a result led to that content becoming irrelevant much faster than I'd have liked. Same with Black Hammer and Gjallarhorn.
