A quick note before we begin: This guide is intended for noobs who do not wish to be carried, or who do not have friends available to carry them through high level endgame content. This method is intended to be fun, efficient, require no great skill, require no being carried, and to produce reasonable skilled guardians in a reasonable amount of time. So here it is: *Grind vanguard strikes and pvp for marks & rep. **Important note: you can only earn 100 marks per week for vanguard and crucible each. Once you have reached this threshold you are free to use other methods of earning gear, i.e. VOG & Nightfall (though you will be underlevel so you will have to be carried somewhat) and lower level weekly heroics for fewer strange coins (unless someone is willing to carry you through higher level heroic) **Special thanks to So Rexy for bringing this to my attention** *Don't forget to complete bounties! *A reminder from *QuietMicrobe7*: for high efficiency, complete bounties while doing strikes or other content. I.e. complete "defeat enemies without dying" bounties while doing vanguard playlist, POE, or any other pvp content that you are already grinding. *As soon as you are able to complete a Nightfall, Complete a nighfall each week before doing anything else, as you earn a buff that increases all xp gains until weekly reset. *When turning in bounties always eguip weapons and armor that you want to level up first, as you earn xp for those items when you turn in bounties. *Don't forget to complete TDB & HOW quests for legendary fusion rifle & sidearm. *Level Vanguard to rank 2 at least before leveling faction *Buy Vanguard and faction gear. *Level up said gear. *Boom 32! *Do weekly heroic strikes. *Boom strange coins! *Use accumulated strange coins to buy exotic armor or weapons from Xur on the weekends when you have enough *Do POE 28 when you are ready for guaranteed exotic on first run per character *Dont forget to run 1 wolf hunt bounty from petra per character per week for guaranteed treasure key for POE treasure room. *Do POE 32 for armor cores. *Buy preascended light 42 armor from Veriks *Boom 34! *Wreck Nightfalls! *Wreck weekly heroic strikes! *Grind 34 POE for etheric light. *Ascend armor that isn't crap. *Look classy while wrecking Weeklys, Nightfalls, Poe, and Crucible *Dont forget to group up and raid when you are ready. Raids are for most people the most enjoyable aspect of the game. **Find groups on these forums or on Destinylfg.com. Be sure to let people know if you have no experience raiding as you will have a better chance of finding helpful people instead of jerks that way.** *Dont forget to have fun!
