I've seen DB used to block spawn paths during vog confluxes too. I found that to be both funny and clever. And listening to vex roast as they tried to walk through it was satisfying.
What's more, a sun singer was responsible and at least once fired it and then spammed solar grenades. The entire right conflux approach was covered in balls of flame. I almost broke out some marshmallows.

It's seriously effective. Anytime I fight a spider tank, I drill it's legs with my sniper, and when it goes down, I dump 3 DB shells into the face of it and watch the damage tick away. It's awesome!

Hah! That's the very first thing I did with it once I had it leveled! The next was the Valus tank :P
