I made this poll to catch attention.... Check this link out DESTINYELITE.com. They are charging gamers to carry them thru (correction. These people are logging into the gamers account and playing for them. Not even carrying them!) end game content and people fall for this... I blew my lid when I saw them charge $60 for prison of elders 34. R u kidding me?
All of this is from a post I read. The OP paid $125 to complete Skolas. That's so SAD and truly HEARTBREAKING to me.
Bungie will you at least address this to the community please.
Edit: WOW. I AM ASTOUNDED. CAN YOU BELIEVE THAT THEY "DESTINY ELITE" ASKS TO LOG IN TO YOUR OWN PERSONAL ACCOUNT??? You don't even participate in the event like Skolas or ToO!!!! What's the point? It's sick in the head to think a game that you are playing for enjoyment and fun is being pawned off, for an achievement, weapon, shader and special emblem.
This is an extreme example but of you think about it, It's like paying someone to complete the bar for your law degree. Or having someone take your SAT / ACT, whatever.
... From reading a lot of people's comments it looks as if no one gives a shit about HONOR, HONESTY and INTEGRITY anymore. Very disappointing.

4 RepliesSteps to stop this; 1. Pay for one of there service 2. Wait until they finish 3. Once they have finished, run to the bank 4. Request a chargeback 5. Your money will be returned but not only that they have to pay money out their wallets because of the chargeback 6. They relize too many people are doing this and they will shut down destinyelite.com

Get over it girls
-
Yup these guys are bottom feeders.
-
I'm sorry, did they force anyone to buy their services?
-
It is legal for sure, I mean they are just offering a service in exchange for legal tender. That said, anyone dumb enough to hire these guys so they can get an emblem and walk around feeling elite deserve to be ripped off for being idiots.
-
2 RepliesTechnically I don't think it is legal for the people charging for this, but only from a tax perspective, and that might only matter if they make enough money, I'm not a lawyer, I don't really know the specifics but I'm pretty sure that this would be untaxed income
-
4 RepliesI'm surprised people would do this after kirmitTHEfrog incident
-
If anyone's dumb enough to pay for that it's their problem
-
2 RepliesFrom the website you posted it looks like they offer to login OR play with you. So if they are logging in for someone it is because that person did not want to play that end game content. They simply wanted the rewards without doing the work. I can't see why this upsets you so much though how does other people paying to get guns affect you in any way most of those guns are terrible for PvP so it isn't like it harms you ?
-
Yes its legal. It is against ToS so if you are caught you can be banned
Gamers are being rapped
Would have to check the EULA but I'm almost certain there is something in there about not using their product to sell their services.
-
Dude this is not a new thing for video games...
-
The funny thing is, I doubt they realise they have to pay taxes, register as a business, and other legal requirements, wouldn't surprise me if they end up in a court room for not paying their taxes etc. It's probably some kids that think they're smart. It will just bite them on the ass.
-
35 RepliesI've used their services on a couple occasions like lvl 35 POE and Trials Flawless on some character and honestly they act and operate very professionally, they got it done pretty quick and yes I gave them my account info everything went smooth. I would of felt better if there was some sort of legal contract or something protecting myself if they do anything. Overall satisfactory service If I do say so myself.

$100 is worth the original game and both dlc's combined. So your telling me people would rebuy all of Destiny and it's contents, to have someone else play for them? I always knew some Destiny players were disease to this game in more ways than just crucible.
-
2 RepliesThats retarted. Why would someone pay more than the dlc is worth to not even play the dlc
-
2 RepliesI don't really care about this, but if they have the money let them be fools and spend it. Honor, honesty, integrity? It's a video game
-
1 ReplyPlayers are being rapped? That is ridiculous! Is it across the knuckles with a ruler or...?
-
Suckers born every second and scum ready to take advantage of them. Capitalism is alive and well.
-
It's not illegal, it's just really really stupid.

3 RepliesIt's not illegal if someone finds an opportunity to make money and capitalize on it. It is the player's money if they want to spend it on their services. If you don't want it or think it is wrong here's two easy steps: 1. Stop giving a f@ck 2. Go on LFG to find groups Boom...made your life and ours less stressful to deal with.

1 ReplySeems fuct up you could pay out a shedload of money, then potentially have all 3 characters deleted and all you're shit that took months to get by some random on the interwebz, not to mention you would have given them credit card details,PayPal or whatever,it would be cheaper to buy a lagswitch that's what half the -blam!-s in there use to git gud.
-
Edited by NicheWhiz: 7/16/2015 9:47:23 PMThe awkward moment you realize when noobs pay for this but complaint about taken king too overpriced. What a bunch disease to destiny. Yes ttk or legendary edition is overpriced but completing any activities cost more than the games destiny crappers

It's the persons fault if they fall for such a risky scam
