I just did 12 straight hours of strikes
GOT IT ON RUN 282
No hopscotch. I got, to the best of my knowledge, literally every other strike weapon, most more than once including four snakebites, three loner.rebel and two 20/20. Also gotten at least a dozen legendary armor, 15 leg engrams and two exotics I already had.
Worst of all? Getting constellation scar. Same icon, I thought I finally had it. The second time that gun has trolled me.
This is not my first time trying for hopscotch, but it is my longest session.
I saw it drop once tonight, on the second strike.
For those wondering, twelve hours will get you 72 strikes and a few cryptarc packages.

I played through the night. Our kitten has diarrhea and I was chosen to stay up to monitor him.
I received two total exotics, both of which I already had.
Edit 2:
Ingvar, our 14 week Norwegian Forest Cat, is doing well.
Edit 3:
Hard light and hawkmoon. Already had both.
Edit 4: run 282 it dropped after having seen a total of five go to others.

Hang in there, I finaaaaaaaaaaaally got mine on Saturday after grinding for a few weeks and contrary to some belief here, it is well worth the wait! I have maxed stability, I think it's on my Lok, and I pass it around all characters since I appreciate it so much! I hope the kitty is hanging in there! :)

2 RepliesI feel you bud, got one this morning (finally!) Rerolled it & it's a beast (on my Titan) definitely on a par with the messenger minus the burn. Still headshots like a laser beam though. Good hunting dude.

6 RepliesI have a Hopscotch Pilgrim and other than the name, it's the same as the Spare Change Pulse rifle you can get from Crucible. It's not worth that much time and effort dude.

1 ReplyI got one before I knew it was good and dismantled it because I don't use pulse rifles and lack of vault space.. Then find out it's good and I find a love for pulse rifles as well and guess what won't drop for me -.-

damn yo i feel bad for you, ive had the hopscotch since i first made level 20 a long time ago. I actually ignored it for the longest time until i could ascend it. now its just a beast of a gun. the impact and headseeker are jus OP

Im sorry, that's a -blam!-ing grind for no payoff. I got lucky. I watched a youtube video of someone doing a review on it. Did one dragon strike and it dropped. I would have kept grinding if it hadnt dropped, its a beast. If you you like pulse rifles and want to give thorn a little payback, this is the one.
